I am not certain I'm ready to work with anyone yet, but didn't even know the talent interest for such a project.

I am looking for a college or beginner artist (yes, spells low cost, as negotiable as possible to free materials, extras for your own projects, barter, etc.. to fee to cover your gas, time, etc.. but not needing professional credentials).

I am looking for the idea of props, with the modern styles.. funky, or cutesy characters... edgy, or Suessian... sizes may range from holdable, to 4 or so feet in size.... cute rounded for sit on, in front of... funky weird, colorful, etc.

I know there can be foam carving (the firm foam), treatment, painting. Softfoam carve.... latex outerior stuffed with soft foam... not sure other methods.. looking for lower cost materials (if cardboard, for example, I'd head for free from a grocery store, etc.).

Any artists need practice venues? Also mural type painting, but fun, funky, non traditional art, can be simplistic.. but on moveable background (maybe 4-7 foot tall, 4-7 feet wide .. maybe cloth drop, cardboard panels?... open ended).

Do you have an idea of time and costs involved? Also, if interested, a portfolio of a few art styles, prop work, carve/molding work, etc?

Hello artists and creative people!!

I am an art director/event coordinator who is forming a "photography collective."

Who I would like to join:

~Models-Male and Female, all ethnicities, shapes, sizes and ages over 18
~Photographers-Amateur or experienced. Must own your own camera and any other equipment you will want to use
~Make Up Artists-again amateur or experienced. Must have own materials
~Costumers, seamstresses, people who make accessories,props, etc.

Please understand, this is NOT A MONEY MAKING VENTURE, necessarily. There is some potential for income from prints you are involved with, but it is really just for the sake of MAKING ART. Please do not spam me about how expensive your equipment is. I am also a MUA and model, so I know how much things cost and I know how much work it takes. Again, this is strictly for ART.

The purpose of this collective is to coordinate themed regular shoots-about 4 times per year- with members who want to and can commit to making art. As stated, each shoot will have a theme to include appropriate location (on site or studio) MUA's, costumers, models, etc.

However, with that said, I do plan on coordinating a show of everyone's pieces, at various Baltimore locations about a month after each shoot (to give everyone time to process) at which time some money MAY be made if any of your prints sell.

The production is ALL DANCE and has 16 pieces to date. The designer will have the oppotunity to meet with the Technical Director at BMA to view the lighting booth and the entire set up.
