Grip/Electric interns (Lancaster PA)

Feature film shooting in Lancaster PA is in search of two Grip and Electric interns to help out.

Unfortunately the intern positions are not paid, but you will be given a hotel room.

The shoot has been pushed up and will begin on 10/21/09 for 25 shooting days, with weekends off.

NEED CAMERAMAN/WOMAN FOR SHOOT IN DECEMBER. CAN WE TALK NOW?

I am shooting a very short film in December, but I know very little about film- I am a sculptor. I need a camerman/woman preferably who has a nice camera. There may be a way I can use one for the shoot. It will be two days in December, but mostly I need to talk with you first to establish some things. Basically I would need to go down to Patterson Park with you one day to go over some details and get some consultation. Any advice is appreciated. This film will be shot in the ice skating rink down at the park.
I can pay one hundred bucks for the two days of shooting- they won't be full days, probably just a morning and a night.

Sound Editors & AfterEffects Artists Wanted (Bel Air)

Gunpowder Plot Productions is looking for editors and special effects artists to work on polishing our current project, a feature-length film. The film is edited and the basic special effects are in place (which means you won't have to spend much time rotoscoping--the masks are in place as part of the basic effect layers). Specifically we are looking for:
1) AfterEffects artists to take our special effects to the next level (Ghosts transforming into clouds, etc)
2) Sound Effects artists to normalize the tones between segments, adjust additional sounds (screams, for instance) and add foley art (hammer hit to head, bayonet stabbing, etc) where appropriate

All work has been completed in CS4 using Premiere Pro, Audition, and AfterEffects. You need not be local to the Bel Air, MD area--we can ship disks and portable drives with clips and project files.

This entire project has been a non-paying gig for all of us. We don't require a depth of experience, but will require a work sample. Please include links to existing work samples. This is a great opportunity for all of you who have been toying around on your own and are looking for a specific project to work on!

Upon completion, this film will premiere at an event hosted by the Bel Air Center for the Performing Arts. Because of this, we must move quickly on making selections.

Additionally, we are beginning the production cycle on our next two projects (short film filmed in Feb and another feature length filmed next summer). We will consider all responses when selecting crew for those projects as well.

Need Help with Videotaping a Public Service Announcement (MD, DC, NOVA)

We are looking for a company or individual that can help us to shoot a PSA for our social network site that is focused on providing health information for the African American Community. It is one of the first sites of its kind that has been professionally designed with all of the functionality needed to educate the African American community via video, audio, documents, and live chat with professionals. We cover topics ranging from the H1N1 (swine flu) to hypertension in African Americans to bio genetically engineered food designed to do more harm than good. The PSA will be aired on the web and on Comcast. We need to shoot a 10 minute segment explaining our purpose as an organization, a 60 second spot and 30 second spot. We will do all of the editing. Unfortunately we do not have a budget for this project and we are looking for a company or indivdual that can donate time to the project.
