4. Provide interpretation services as needed for both family planning and surgical services patients, both in person and over the phone. Assist with translation of documents, forms and website pages.

5. Compile and prepare charts for patients. Sort charts, separating those requiring clinician signatures, test results or medical transfers.

6. Obtain and document vital signs. Assist the Clinician as necessary. Provide medications to patients under the supervision of a Clinician. Assist with preparation of medical referrals for patients.

7. Perform daily/periodic quality assurance activities; collect and process blood and urine specimens according to Lab Manual.

8. Prepare patient and exam rooms for daily procedures.

9. Work at other health centers as needed.

10. Other duties as assigned..



Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:



1. Possession of a high school diploma; and

2. Specialized training in medical assistance, health care and/or medical records, and typing.

3. Phlebotomy/IV training highly desirable.

4. CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately after employment.

Qualifications Licensing, Education & Experience Requirements:

1. YOU MUST be a graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
2. Be currently licensed in physical therapy in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
3. Have at least two years of experience within the last five years in physical therapy.
4. Have training and certification in cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
5. Possess knowledge, skill and proficiency in both inpatient and outpatient care of patient’s acute or chronic neurological, orthopedic, general surgical and general medical conditions.

Therapeutic treatment may include patients with HIV disease.
