Description:
This candidate will be working on a long-term project located at Fort Meade, MD. They will be responsible for install new versions of database software, to include patches. They will also support Systems Administrator and Software Engineers with the installation of new software on application layers. The candidate will support testing of database software in coordination with System Administrators and other project members to configure new software so that it performs optimally with the database system. The primary goal of this position will be to support upgrades, including the installation of load balancers and a potential move to Oracle RAC.

Required Skills:
•Minimum 8 years of experience as a Database Administrator
•Must possess and working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise 10g, Oracle Text, and Oracle Label Security (OLS)
