2004 MIM Mike Dirnt P-Bass (Columbia, MD) $400

This 2004 Fender Mike Dirnt Signature P-Bass has been looking at the inside of its hard case since September except for an occasional finger stretching in favor of my '51 P. Im the second owner, bought it from a friend about 8 months ago in excellent condition. Had a local luthier go over it completely, clean up and sloppy factory soldering etc. These are going for ~$940 new.

Sonically excellent, cosmetically almost there. Two small scratches on the front, circled in green in the pics. This bass is completely stock except for the strings. Comes with a canvas roadrunner gig bag. I can send larger images via email for more detail.

Early 80's Precision Bass (Owings Mills ) $315

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW BEFORE CONTACTING ME! Most of your questions can be answered if you just take the time to carefully read the whole description. Sorry, but I get a lot of people emailing me asking me questions about things that are already in the ad. They just need to take the time and read before sending an email!

Selling my old (1983) Precision bass. Plays like butta. Nice low action. She is a 34" scale (normal scale for a P bass). She's an old Made in Japan P. Fender moved some production over there in the early 80's. If you read about these instruments, you will find that most agree that these were some of the best instruments that Fender made and were actually superior to Fender's USA instruments of that era (and most other eras as well). They are VERY high quality.

In any case, mine has an "SQ" serial number which places it's build date somewhere between 1983 and 1984 ( see dating page on Fender's site -- http://fender.com/support/japanese_instruments.php ). She's light, plays and sounds great. I'm selling her for dirt cheap because the body has a number of dings, etc in it. She's been gigged a lot, but the neck is straight, the frets still have a LOT of life on them and are level, the electronics work great with no issues as do the tuners and bridge, etc.

Body is alder, neck is maple and fretboard is rosewood.

So she may not be pretty, but it's a fine instrument and one that you won't have to worry about scratching at a gig. I do also have an amp that you can try her on. These early 80's, made in Japan, Fender Squier Precisions are highly sought after if you do some reading on them. They had better quality control and build quality then the USA stuff at that time. Play it and you will want to own it! I just put new strings on her as well (saves you about $20 or so).

These typically sell for $400 - $600 or so. I priced mine low for a quick sale. Price is 110% FIRM. I will not take a penny less. No scammers, cash only in person.

Pedal Modifications (Ds-1's, Bd-2's,Hm-2, etc.)

If you have an old thin sounding Boss Ds-1 laying around you don't use anymore because you're dissapointed in the way it sounds. I can modify it to your liking.
I can do the Robert Keeley mod to it for incredible gain and great leads.
I can give it a grunge rock sound
or i can replace practically the whole signal path in it and give it great gain, tube-like warmth, and punch.

I also mod other makes of pedals, but Boss pedals are my specialty. and ADD different colored LEDs to your pedals for you
