2 year old shepherd/boxer mix needs new home (Remington/Charles Village)

This is Daisy, a 2-year-old German shepherd/boxer mix (that's what we were told, though she does look like she probably has some pit bull in there somewhere). Daisy is a very sweet, affectionate, and energetic dog that we have had for almost two years. However, my husband and I separated a few months ago, and between work, taking care of my preschooler, and trying to maintain a home, I just don't have the time, energy or opportunity to take care of Daisy properly anymore. She needs a new home where she can get lots of walks (or runs) and proper attention. I would ask a $100 adoption fee, although that is negotiable. I want her to go to a good, responsible home.

Daisy is house-broken and she knows some basic commands, like sit and lie down. She is eager to please and responds well to being trained--I just haven't had as much time to teach her the best manners (she still jumps on visitors). She is a good watch dog and is good with children, although she is a little oblivious about how big she is when it comes to smaller children! She is current on her shots, but she has not been spayed. I have her immunization paperwork, etc. She weighs about 60 pounds and she is all muscle.

We live in a rowhouse with a small fenced yard and ideally I would like to see her go to a home where she has some room to run, or at least with owners who really have the time to walk her or take her for runs. When I stayed at home with my toddler, I had time for that sort of thing. But my circumstances have changed, and it's just not fair to Daisy now.

I have a collapsible crate, food bowls, a self-watering bowl, etc. that I could sell to you inexpensively also, if you need them. Serious, sincere inquiries only, please!

There are so many ignorant, uneducated people on here its quite amusing. There is nothing wrong with your dog, its just not one of those trashy crappy bloodlines "Bullies". It is an American Pit Bull Terrier. If it is a true APBT you will see ribs and even spine, its normal. My female is 14 months and is 39lbs. Don't freak out, its a puppy, they change SO MUCH in their puppy stages. You are going to more than likely have a tall, lanky dog, enjoy having an athletic dog vs a big bulky mutt that has hip displacia and tons of other problems.

Guinea Pig Friend (Towson)

Hello, I've reached out to various ad's but thought I'd put my own up. I adopted a 6 month old guinea pig about 2 months ago off of here and he is the love of my life...however in doing some research I discovered they are very social/herd animals. So since I'm home mostly nights and weekends I've decided to find a friend for him to hang out with. I'm leaning more towards males only because I would have to get one or both of them fixed if I had a female, however if you have a fixed female that would work as well. I introduced him to a guinea pig before, but I'm pretty sure we went about it the wrong way, he was a bit aggressive (towards the other male guinea pig) however he was driven about 35 minutes and taken into a home that had a variety of pet scents which he was not used to. Please don't be alarmed however, he did not harm the other guinea pig...just showed his dominance. Please email me if you have any interest in adopting out your guinea and if/when they can meet.

White Female Dog needs a home (21224)

We found "Lady" two weeks ago with no tags, microchip or tattoo to identify her. After putting posters up in the 3 surrounding neighborhoods and multiple websites no one has come to claim her. We have approached 5 no kill shelters, the humane society and the spca and have either been turned down or told she "wouldn't make it."

Lady is house broken, very affectionate, listens well, learns quickly and knows basic commands – sit & stay. She was wonderful when we bathed her, allowed me to clip her nails and clean her ears. She also let me look at her teeth with relatively little resistance. We have been crating her during the day while we are at work. At first she didn’t want to go in the crate. Now, when she sees me ready she just walks into it. (We can give you the crate and pad if you like). She is a little timid around new people so when you first meet her she may growl but, she warms up really quickly (especially to women). She has never even tried to bite anyone, even when I lunged at her to grab her leash the night we found her. She is not fixed, so you may want to consider doing this if you adopt her.

We are asking for a $50 rehoming fee just to recoup the expenses since taking her in. We would also like to see the home she will be going to and/or references from neighbors and friends.

We are willing to get all vaccines, as long as the rabies shot and heartworm/lymes test has been performed. I am a dog trainer/canine behaviorist and work at Camp Bow Wow in Columbia, MD. Our dogs go to work with me, on different days, and he/she would be able to also, after a Meet and Greet Session, to insure that he/she gets along with all of the other dogs unconditionally. If not, he/she would stay at home with the one I did not take that day, and then hiked when we get home. I am away from the house for about 7 hours a day. We have references per your request. We are willing to travel to meet your baby and/or pay for relocation expenses. We would prefer that you would be willing to come to our home to see where your baby will live and, if you would like, to visit. ( Ours are kept indoors, and sleep in bed with us....good thing we have a king sized sleep number bed, lol). We hike with them at least 6 times a week, sun, snow, rain, (at least if it is a warm rain). We have no human children and are not planning to have any. Our dogs ARE our babies! I have a son who has severe eczema and we can't afford to keep her. She needs some much needed attention and a definite visit to the vet. She may have contact dermatitis from fleas. She will be given a flea bath the day of or the day before pick up so she should be good to go for 30 days. She needs someone who will take good care of her.

Pretty Domestic Shorthair Mix Cat (BARCS Shelter (Baltimore) )

I came to BARCS with small kittens and tried really hard to raise them but they were too sick...in fact I almost didn't make it myself but I pulled through and now am strong and healthy. I ‘m litter box trained and I have sleek black fur with a small trace of white on the chest, almost like a feather...guess that's why they named me that. Or maybe it's because I like to play with my toy feathers. Now that I'm better I dream of a home to call my own, with a sunny spot in the kitchen and someone I can love forever. Is that with you? My adoption fee is just $65 and includes Spay/Neuter surgery, Rabies vaccine, De-wormer, Flea preventative, General examination and Felv test. ; a food sample; and even a month of free health insurance.

Optional: microchip me for an additional $10.


I am available for adoption from Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS).

BARCS is located at 301 Stockholm Street, across from the Ravens stadium. The shelter is open for adoptions seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm.

4 month old kittens (baltimore)

I have 2 four month old male kittens for adoption. They are adorable, litter trained and friendly. They get along with other cats, dogs and children. They are very playful. If they cant go together my wish is for them to go in a home with other cats as they are very socially oreinted. They love to play. They have had their first set of shots but can go back to any vet for their 2nd set. I have both their parents who are up to date on their shots as well.
