As an animal care volunteer, you will provide vital care to animals recovering from surgery, maintain facility cleanliness, and assist veterinarians and technicians with other assignments as needed. The Ontario SPCA Barrie Spay/Neuter Services is looking for ten dedicated community members to provide animal care coverage from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, or 1:00pm to 6:00pm, one to two days a week. Are you a Canadian between the ages of 18 and 30?
Did you have cancer and undergo treatment between the ages of 13 and 30?
Are you currently finished your treatment plan (e.g. chemo, radiation, surgery, or a combination of the three)?
Then we would like to hear from you!!

We are conducting a research study on how a history of cancer in adolescence or young adulthood affects how you experience your sexuality.

What we need from you: About an hour of your time for a telephone interview on your experience with your sexuality after you completed your cancer treatment.

We are looking for a widely varying group of participants, having different levels and kinds of sexual experiences, including those who are just at the point of thinking about having them. Any information you give us will be kept confidential and your privacy will be protected. We may not invite everyone who responds to an interview. If you are chosen for an interview you will receive 20 dollars to pay you for your time.

Marine turtle protection project on the west coast of Karnataka

Kundapur is a town situated on the west coast of Karnataka near the beach, and very close to the Western Ghats (a mountain ridge). The Western Ghats is India's prime zone for bio-diversity, known for its number of animal and plant species in this region. A Marine Turtle protection project has been started here in co-operation with the Forest Department of the State of Karnataka. Over a 60-kilometer stretch of beach, surveys are conducted and the turtle nests are protected until the hatching of the eggs. In 2007, more than 1500 baby turtles reached the ocean safely thanks to the efforts of international volunteers. This year again we continue these efforts. The projects will also focus on spreading awareness to the general public and in the schools about the importance of turtles in the bio-diversity.

5 Year old neutered Tabby Cat (Barrie )

Anton prefers a home that will keep his little box pristine as he doesnt like to get his paws dirty and a balcony where he can get some fresh air. Or a backyard for that matter.
He has been strictly an indoor cat for his entire life although he has always been allowed out on the porch and occasionally in the yard.
Anton has had no health issues .

YOUNG CAT FOUND - BRECHIN (BRECHIN)

We have a young white and orange cat DSH (kitten -appr 9-12 months, I think) that has been living at our cottage for 3-4 weeks. It is a little shy but wants to be loved. We are hoping that a family in the Concession Road 7 (Louis Lane, Amilia Drive, Glenrest or Bayshore Village) area owns this little purr machine or perhaps someone was visiting and the cat got out. It is a family pet as it does not object to human contact and seems to be in good condition (clear, clean eyes and fur). It has an orange tail, copper eyes and a pink nose. It is orange on the top of its head and has an orange spot on it's right side og it's body (approx. 1 " in diameter)

We are looking for a limited set of users in the Barrie area who drive into work,  have either an iPhone or a Blackberry Bold 9000 /Curve 8900 smartphones, and commutes for more than 30 minutes into Toronto.

Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to provide great feedback to our product and be the first one to enjoy this new technology.  As a small token of appreciation, we would offer a FREE car mount and a car charger. Your participation and your feedback is what we are going after.

I'm a 23 year old girl from Barrie, just got a new job in the Vaughan/Woodbridge area.
If you commute to Toronto every morning, I could be dropped off at Hwy 400 and Hwy 7.
I'm going from Bayfield Street in Barrie but can meet you wherever.
Looking to arrive in Vaughan around 8am-8:30am and leave Vaughan around 5pm.

Relaxation Massage Class for Couples (Barrie On)

Have you ever wished your partner could just get that knot in your shoulders that has been bugging you all day? Or wished they would use more pressure or less?

This 3-4 hour class will teach you and your partner the basics of relaxation massage. You will each get a massage as I instruct you in the proper pressure techniques and stance, as well as massage manuipulations.

What a nice way to show each other what you mean to each other, and who doesn't love a great massage?

I have extensive training in relaxation massage and by the end of the class you will have the confidence you need to help the one you love.
