Start Dates: March/April 2010
Contract Duration: 1 year
Location: All across Japan (no Tokyo placements)
Student Level: Elementary & Junior High
Teaching Schedule: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
Monthly Salary: 250,000 JPY (approx. $3,000 CDN)
Visa: Sponsored by the school
Housing: Approx. $450-$550/month
Vacation: 7-8 weeks of vacation; including National Holidays

Tutoring positions available with Tutor Doctor (Caledon,Dufferin Co,Barrie,Collingwood)

Tutor Doctor, an international life services company, is looking for tutors for one-on-one tutoring in students homes in Caledon, Orangeville, Shelburne, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Barrie area.

Tutor Doctor is currently looking for tutors who can go to students' homes. Tutoring involves clarifying and teaching subject matter, as well as assessing the student’s knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis. We are interested in tutors for all levels from grade 3 to grade 12. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Sciences and Languages.

Qualifications:
- Formal background preferred (i.e. certified teachers, grad students, skilled professionals, retirees), but will consider other experience and high performing individuals. Tutor Doctor will certify successful candidates to work within the company system.
- Solid subject knowledge.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience desirable.
- Access to reliable transportation.

Job type:
