The CypressLA Band (Ark-La-Tex Area)

The CypressLA Band

... is essentially, a three piece, 70s -90s Blues tribute band who also entertains the crowds with multiple original arrangements.
Music that gets people up dancing, having a great time and remembering the old high school days is the band's focus on music selection.
The group's musical genera has been titled by the band as "Swamp Rock" which is a clever blend of Rock and a heavy layer of Blues.
The group has performed at many of the favorite venues around the Ark-La-Tex including MoJo's downtown Shreveport, Mom's in Longview and Valhalla's in Homer.

Some of the artists covered include: Pink Floyd, CCR, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Rabbit, John Caferty (Eddie & the Cruisers)

Music for your event (Silent DJ) (NW Louisiana)

I have a medium and/or large sound system and a digital DJ setup for rent. A DJ will be present to host the controls.
The Sound system includes around 2500 watts of real concert power and plenty of subs to feel the music.
I will provide music for your event. I can do themed music i.e 70s, 80s, Disco, or do random top 100 rock or country - you choose.
The "Silent" DJ will have a microphone to Emcee contests or make announcements as requested or required, but will not be annoying or make embarrassing remarks between songs as most tend to do.
The system includes a small light show with dance floor effects.
I specialize in MardiGras krew events!
