He knows, (step up), which means step up on your arm, and (Out side), for going out side. I know its a little silly but i taught him to dance when you move in a certain way. He can also say (Dance, Hellow, Bye Bye, and he sometimes supprises us by saying our names). He is learning everyday but he just has a hard time saying it clearly. We WONT let him go to just any ol' home. You must be very loving and careing people with lots of time to spare for Charley. Black and White Mare Kid Broke and Cute (Plain Dealing) $925

Fancy is a 13 yr old Black and White Paint mare. She is not registered. Fancy is very broke, she is kid safe and gentle for anyone to ride. We just got back from Gary, Texas and she was ridden on a all day ride that was around 20 miles long. There were around 170 or so horseback riders, wagons, 4-wheelers, mules, traffic, trucks pulling trailers and dogs, Fancy rode along just fine and was extremely quiet, she does not kick when others ride up to close. She stayed tied up to the trailer all nite and did not paw or pull back she was perfectly fine. This little mare is about 14 hands and has a current coggins. She is an easy keeper and requires no special attention. Fancy is calm, gentle and broke she is safe for anyone of any age to ride but if you are looking for a speed horse Fancy is not for you she likes to walk and will trot but that is about it she is not going to run away with anyone. She will keep up just fine on the trailride but she is not going to run barrels, she will walk them. White Leghorn Rooster (Shreveport) $20

Fully mature but hasn't grown a full set of spurs. He was bought at a local feed store in June.
Gentle on the hens. Takes good care of them and watches over them all day as they free range. Doesn't wander far. Not too bad on people either.. A great bluffer but rarely attacks and when he does it's to scare, not hurt. Would be a great flock guardian that won't beat your hens up, or over mate them, and that you don't need to be afraid of yourself. Also leaves our other animals alone. Picks the grain out of the goat feed as they eat it and has never attacked our small dogs (though they are smart enough to leave him alone too).

Doesn't constantly crow. Crows when he wakes and then acts like a guard dog for the rest of the day.

We wan't to start breeding other breeds now and need him out of the way for the other younger roosters. He is a good rooster though so we thought we would give him a shot at finding a new home instead of the cook pot.



Contact is through email only. Only other thing to note is he recently had fowl pox (1 month ago). Was very mild and he got over it in a matter of days. Should have granted him some immunity for the future. As you can see no scarring. He shouldn't be a carrier but I thought it worth noting. Hasn't shown any symptoms of any other disease.

Young horses are alot like young children.
They soak up everything that they encounter. Everything that goes on around them, eventually becomes their foundation upon their personality. It is so critical to teach them all the important things that make their life easy. Just like we send our children to school for a professional to teach them, we should also send our young horses to be taught correctly.




So many people decide to take the cheaper route saying " I will just train my colt myself... I've ridden for years"

This typically begins with gently sliding a saddle on, forcing a bit in his mouth and slowly climbing aboard!
The next step is usually the que to "go" which is done by kicking over and over or even whipping the horse. Now that he is moving, the rider pulls the horses head left or right making him turn...

This just doesnt seem pleasant to me...
I wouldnt want to teach kids through "force or pain"... I'd prefer they learn by "understanding the process"..

I come across horses DAILY that have been broke to ride this way...
I hear owners complain that their horse is running into mailboxes, spooking and jumping around, ran through a fence because I couldnt stop him, jumps away from me when I try to get on his back, kicking, wont go, wont stop, wont turn, throws his head in the air (hitting people in the face), wont go thru water puddles, bucks, rears, etc etc etc.... and sadly, you can actually see the horses personality fading! They become quiet, standoffish and seem almost depressed.

Horses who are properly trained from the "beginning" CONSISTANTLY do things such as give to pressure, spook in place, keep a low, level head during riding, accept a saddle and bit without resistance, and easily move into a walk, trot, & lope. In their first month of training, a horse should clearly understand what their rider is asking of them...as a result, your horse will be happy, excited to be rode and willing to please through-out his life!!!





The facilty where I train has an indoor arena, nice stalls, 60 acres of pasture, paddocks, outdoor arena, locked feed & tack rooms, washracks, and plenty of trails to help your horse gain some experience out and about while he is with me! I typically keep horses I train for 30 days, but several have stayed for 60, even 90 days! Horses in my care are fed twice daily, turned out for pasture time at least every other day. Shoeing, trimming, deworming... anything your horse may need while in training can be taken care of at affordable prices.

Want Nigerian Dwarf Registered Buck wanted for breeding

We want to breed our registered Nigerian Dwarf does to a registered buck. Our place is clean and our pasture has not been used for livestock in years. Our does have not been anywhere but our yard for 3 years prior to now. They have been given a clean bill of health by the vet in the past 6 months and only have two herd dogs for company. Don't want to buy a buck now, but maybe when we build our herd a few generations.
