Senior iPhone Application Developer (Shreveport, LA)

Position Overview
The Senior iPhone Application Developer will assist in defining and establishing the programming framework for developing a multitude of iPhone Applications.

Job Functions
- Work with business representatives to define requirements and developing technical specifications
- Architect software solutions and determine current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems, selection of new concepts and methodology, and development of major routines and utilities
- Design and construct creative new applications for the iPhone
- Participate in all activities accordingly to ensure on time deliverables are met including day-to-day planning and coordination with testers, developers, project managers, and business representatives
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation and assure designs meet requirements, deliver high quality work on tight schedules

Requirements
- 2+ years of Objective C, C++ and Cocoa development experience with at least 1 year of iPhone experience and at least 1 significant application in the Apple iPhone App Store
- Database experience, including practical knowledge of database client API's and experience designing databases with an eye on performance
- Experienced building database driven applications using SQLite.
- Deep experience developing for MAC OS X operating systems.
- Experience with other mobile device platforms such as RIM, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Android a plus
- Streaming audio or video applications and QuickTime API development experience required
- Deftness at Object-Oriented design and systems architecture for mobile devices and wireless systems
- Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, source control and  peer code-reviews
- Good optimization and debugging skills
- Experience developing reusable APIs
- Willingness to perform all duties required to successfully deliver client solutions
