Starter Bee Hives for Sale $110

I am offering a limited number of single deep "Starter Hives" this spring. All hive wooden ware will be new. The bees that come in the starter hive will be: Italian, Russian, German, or a combination of the these types. They will basically consist of a strong 5 frame hive (2-3 frames of brood, 1-2 frames of pollen/honey, approximately 2 lb of bees, and a young queen that has been laying in the hive for 3 weeks minimum) installed in a 10 frame hive at pickup in the following equipment:

Deep hive body w/5 additional frames w/plastic foundation
Solid bottom board
Migratory top

The price will be $110.00 for the bees and new equipment picked up in SE Texas near Houston (Splendora). The following options will also be offered:

Screened bottom board add $5.00 (recommended for southern areas)
Rosin dipped wooden ware add $20.00 (makes the wooden ware last 2-3 times longer)
Customer specified queen source add $10.00 plus cost of queen(s) (this option may delay the pick-up time depending on availability of the queen(s) specified).

These hives will be available beginning in the 1st or 2nd week of April (depending on weather and other conditions) and will continue through May and possibly into mid June (again depending on conditions). A $30.00 deposit per hive will be required to secure the order with the balance due prior to or at pickup, no minimum purchase required. The new hive equipment will be on-site and the hives will be transferred into the new equipment at pick-up time giving the buyer the opportunity to inspect them as they help transfer them (a great learning experience for newbies).

For folks who want to group their orders together (like beekeeping clubs) I will make special delivery/pick-up arrangements on 100+ units anywhere inside the state of Texas (since the state is quite vast, there may be some additional delivery fee depending on mileage).

These divides will be made up at least three weeks prior to pickup and will be sold only when they are building up and the queen is proven and laying a good pattern.

1000 Watt Xtrasun Hydro Grow Light (North Houston) $300

I am offering 'slightly' used systems. The Xtrasun® AC 6-Inch Air Coolable Reflector Light, the 120/240 1000 Sodium Ballast, Timer, & Hanger. Complete, they list for over $600 each at some locations. Ebay has them listed for $420, $170 for the heavy duty ballast, Hangers are $20, Timers are $40. Each light has a bulb and I believe there is an extra bulb or two I'll throw in. Those are $40 each, but they last a long time. We are talking some serious growing power here. You can duct AC through the light to keep the bulbs cooler. They do create heat when on.

I will sell individual systems or discount when you want more than 1. Heck, bring a truck and take them all. I have them listed for at an extremely attractive price. I need them gone.

The ballast weigh a lot, the light is 27x22x9 with a sliding glass sleeve on the bottom, so shipping or delivery would be extra. I live right off 1960 east of I-45. That's 1 1/2 hours drive from Beaumont to my front door. Hwy 90 to Dayton, 1960 across through Humble, by the airport, hang a right on Aldine Westfiled. It's approx 70 miles if memory serves me correctly.

Palimino Missouri Foxtrotter (Silsbee, Tx) $1200

Beautiful Palimino missouri foxtrotter just turned two this month. She leads, loads, tie, etc. I have done a lil ground work with her but with work and about to have another child I havent had time to give her the attention or training she needs to be the horse that she can be. She saddles and takes a bit with no problem. I let my cousin get on her for ten minutes about two weeks ago to she how she would respond to a little weight in the saddle(he ways 90 pounds soaking wet) and she didn't offer to buck or rear at all. She is a beautiful horse and has an awesome gait in the pasture. I hate to part with her but she will make someone a great trail horse.
