Tax Preparer (Bellingham)
I am a sole practioner CPA in Bellingham looking for experienced help in the upcoming busy season. Prior experience preparing Form 1040 personal tax returns is required, experience with 1120's and 1065's would be nice. This will start off in December at 10-20 hours/week and go to full time by February. I can keep you gainfully employed through April 15th for sure, possibly longer depending on how things work out with my workload and your performance. Plan on answering phones, filing, greeting clients in a professional environment as well as preparing tax returns. Reliability and confidentiality are a must. I offer a flexible work schedule and a pleasant work environment, nice office in Bellingham. This could work for a student if we could work out a job share situation or something, it would be a great fit for a business or accounting major from WWU or WCC. Please reply with a resume to this e-mail and I will follow up with the most qualified candidates. Thanks for your interest.
Never Give Consent online for a credit check
They are just fishing for your SSN don't give it to them!!!
It is very unprofessional and rude to ask about someone's credit score, if it were ment to be public then future employers would be able to look it up just like a background check. Personally my credit is horrible due to a parking ticket in collections, a few ER bills for asthma attacks when my DSHS health insurance was cut off, the some odd $1500 for an apartment I had to terminate a lease early due to no job and no money to pay rent, but none of these have anything to do with how well I perform the duties of any job that I get hired to do. I refuse to allow your company to make judgements about me based on the misfortunes of my life!
