Regional Construction Supervisor - North (Lynnwood, WA) (Lynnwood)

Responsibilities:
- Manages a group of Construction Technicians in the North (will include Spokane) who work construction and restoration of Comcast above ground and underground fiber and coax cable systems for residential consumer, multiple dwelling unit and commercial customers, or who oversee contractor quality and adherence to specifications.
- Establishes goals and objectives, and monitors performance against them.
- Develop tactical short-range plans.
- Implements operational procedures, and prepares administrative and statistical reports.
- Submits recommendations for providing effective services or sales and implements approved plans.
- Implements service policies and procedures.
- Explains company strategy and policies and procedures to employees, keeping them informed of changes in practice.
- Monitors customer satisfaction, and works directly with representative of major customers.
- Implements automated and manual systems.
- Ensures that vehicles, equipment, and inventory are maintained in proper working order.
- Establishes and maintains rapport with local governmental agencies and regulators to optimize business relationships.
- Participates in sales calls with major new customers.
- Supervises direct and functional reports.
- Establishes individual performance goals.
- Reviews performance against goals and provides counseling.
- Plans, approves, and implements programs for the timely development and progression of individuals.
- Plans and grants salary increases, and recognition and incentive awards as appropriate.
- Handles discipline and documentation steps in problem employee situations.
- Recruits to provide adequate and timely staff for the group.
- Implements employee relations programs, and ensures adherence to company and community labor practices such as valuing difference and overtime.
- Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills:
Mininmum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, typically with two years or more post secondary education.
- Five years or more of experience in construction operations, including at least 2 years or more Construction Tech 3, or comparable work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to supervise other employees.
- Demonstrated ability to work complex technical and customer issues.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction operations, policies and procedures.
