marketing/graphics/communications worker (Bellingham, WA)

Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth, a performing and visual arts company for young people, requires a marketing and graphics person. Job involves all aspects of promoting this company (www.baay.org), including designing theatre programs, selling advertisements within these programs, coordinating photo shoots, updating website with current info, sending emails to press and families to keep them updated on performances, creating a pleasant lobby environment with signage that keeps people informed of current programs, creating ad campaigns via social networking and press releases to promote programs and other duties as required.

Another position/project is to create a costume rental business/website...

Pay will be $10 an hour, with a bonus of 10 percent of any ad sales generated for theatre programs. Hours will be generally less than 6 per week, except during ad sales times (early December and in April). Worker will be a private contractor, not an employee, so taxes are your responsibility.
