Handmade Chenille Patchwork Quilts (Custer)

Theses cozy quilts are made from vintage chenille bedspreads, each square measures 7 1/2" and the quilts measures 77" x 87" up to 90"x 90". They are backed with soft coordinating flannel fabric and bordered with the same. Each square is hand quilted around, not tied, which gives the quilt a puffy appearance. The quilt is shown on a queen sized bed. The batting for these quilts is an extra loft and light weight. Chenille bed spreads are beautiful and an endless variety of color and texturethat they make to best quilts. There are 4 full-queen sized quilts and 2 twin-full sized available, just in time for north wind to start blowing! The larger quilts are $200 and the smaller ones are $150.
This is a colorful sampling of some beautiful old chenille spreads. If you enjoy having pieces of history as part of your home decor, you'll enjoy this representation of chenille spreads from the 50s.

These chairs are super comfortable but need to be restained and two of them need new fabric for the chairs. If you can even sew a little it would be super easy to follow the design of the fabric intact and you could make four beautiful chairs to match for the back padio or yard! I'd sell for about 5 dollars a ball but they are of varying sizes so I'm willing to barter or even trade. I'd estimate most of them at 250-300 yards.

I've posted a pic of some of the wound cakes and a picture of a strand next to some classic worsted weight Red Heart yarn just for comparison.

It is true 100% wool, great for felting or knitting those extra warm and luxurious items.

Selling a collection of ecclectic holiday greeting cards with matching envelopes. There are 4 different varieties which add up to 43 greeting cards/envelopes. All boxes are unopened except for one box, but all cards are in very good condition.

A couple varieties are blank inside; a couple varieties say some variation of "Happy Holidays." None of them say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy New Year" so they are fairly neutral and could be used across a cornucopia of holiday traditions.

One variety has stickers you or your helpers can apply to customize each card. Another variety is in the cutout shape of a reindeer that you can decorate individually, or leave as-is. The oher varieties resemble illustrations in the children's classic book, "Goodnight, Moon."
