wanted: someone to "Press" some automotive studs into place (Ferndale / whatcom) $20

Hello,

I have a set of wheel hub flanges that need to have thier wheel "Studs" for the tires, pressed into.

I have the 10 new studs and the shorter old ones have already been pounded out.

This all is in the process of converting a 1937 Dodge's original brakes to modern, safer Disk brakes. The longer new studs are to hold the thicker Rotors and wheels on where the old studs held thinner brake drums and the original old dodge wheels.

The only complication that can come up is the possibility that the holes in the old flanges are very slightly too small in diameter. Then a drill press would be needed to enlarge the holes slightly, before pressing in the studs.

The machine shop that was going to do this just closed for vacation and if I can get the studs pressed on now, Or find someone that wants to sell a hydrolic press ... then I can get some work done on the old rig this weedend.

VW Bug motor - 1500 SP Trade? OBO (Bellingham) $300

I'm looking to pick up a cheap dual port motor for my daily driven bug but need to make some room and money. Motor runs great, 1 or 2 cracks on the intake, but could be JB welded just fine. PICT carb is pretty worn (loose throttle shaft) but works ok. Does not include alternator, alternator bracket or fan shroud, everything else is included (yes, all other tins too). I can also get more pictures if needed. Engine has been stored INSIDE in a dry and warm environment ever since it was removed 6ish months ago. Doesn't leak any more oil than any other bug.

Will trade for a dual port motor or parts, or hell, any cool aircooled bug stuff (pre 67 please) like bumpers, headliner, wheels, roof rack... I would even consider a NICE pan (anything but Super Beetle) and I'm sure there's more. Make an offer!

1967 Mustang Hubcaps! (Glenhaven)

17" Antera Type 109 Opus One W/Toyo Proxes PFZ4 Tires (Blaine) $500

Hey guys,
I bought these wheels for my 1991 Acura Integra but they are much wider than what my car calls for. I think its affecting my gas mileage and producing more road noise because of the increased surface of the tire. Tires are barely used and have over 90% tread left. I had my suspension checked a few days ago and once the car was on the lift, the rear right wheel seemed to have a very slight wobble. But that's most likely due to my worn out bushings, suspension, or possibly the wheel bearing. Just wanted to mention this so nobody thinks I'm trying to rip them off. You may know more about this than I do so letting you know about it.

Toyota Tundra or Tacoma Studded Tires (Ferndale) $500

I have four Mastercraft Courser MSR studded snow tires mounted on black rims with silver Toyota hubcaps. These tires were used for 6000 miles in Alaska by the guy who bought them new and are in great shape. I paid $400 for the tires and spent another $200 on rims/mounting and never even put them on my truck. I have sold my Tundra and no longer need them.
