A list of some of my experience: At age 11, I was the sole nursery attendant at my church for choir practice nights, and sometimes babysat up to 10 kids at one time; granted, the parents were in the sanctuary, but we never once had to go get them for anything. :) I began babysitting regularly for families in Junior High, and after High School was very involved in the raising of my baby Godson, and ultimately 3 Goddaughters. Bass Player wanted for good-old Hard Rock (skag/bham)

I'm looking for a bass player to take up the bottom end for me. I'm a 31 year old drummer/songwriter looking to get back into playing music and trying out my songs in the local scene. Currently, I've got about an hours worth of hard rock material that I'm looking to try and form a stage concert around. I've got a 20 year old guitarist who is up for trying his hand at it. I've got a large club size PA system with almost 40 channels of mixing, and 17 stage mics.

I need someone who has pro (LOUD) gear, reliable transportation, reliable personality, and a professional outlook towards music. My life is busy, and I can't get together and practice several hours every other day, so I need people who can practice on their own time as well as with the band. Currently, I'm practicing with the guitar player about once a week. I can provide CDs of all the songs, I can provide just your prospective instrument's tracks, or I can provide a cd with your instrument mixed out so you can play along without having to fight with a duplicate instrument. I can also teach you anything you need help with.

I want to stress that you WILL NOT be told to play anything exactly the way I played it on the CD. Just learn the basics, and add your own style.

I'm looking to start in local clubs and work our way into the Seattle scene. I want the band to be on par, and better than most of the headlining acts that come through town right now. I hope that we can eventually earn a large enough following of fans to host our own local concerts and get away from the control of the bars and clubs.

21 month old White German Shepherd (Burlington)

The Whatcom Humane society rents humane traps for a small fee. If you turn them in to the shelter though, their fate is uncertain. You may look into if there is a catch and release program in Whatcom County that could give you some help in relocating.

Re: person looking for childcare in Ferndale

I am the babysitter who "flaked" out on her. I was never paid, nor did she hold to the agreement of paying something over the dshs $2.15 an hr to help compensate for my gas to take her son to school, pick him up and drop them off at different locations for sports, appts etc. To date I am out $1000 in pay plus about $350 in gas (out of my own pocket)
So, since she decided to dodge responsibility and put this all on me on CL, I wanted to warn anyone who may be thinking of answering her ad. If she tries to claim she has paid me, ask to see the canceled checks or dshs document proving so. She hasnt and I now have to file in small claims.
If you can afford to work for free, then by all means, answer her ad.
I cannot afford that any longer. It has cost us tremendously.

We need bass player and keys (Bellingham)

We are looking for a bass player and keys to complete our classic rock influenced band. At the moment we have two guitar players, a drummer, and a singer. We are currently playing covers from a variety of bands such as 38 Special, Cream, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Joe Walsh etc. We also have some originals in progress so if you can help write lyrics that would be a bonus.

We are all busy with jobs and other non-music related commitments so making it to the top or making a lot of money is not a priority for us. But, we also don’t just want to jam all of the time so in the near future we are planning to start playing a couple of shows a month. Since we’re all busy when we get together to practice we are focused and get a lot of work done, but we have a lot of fun at the same time.

Please be in your 20’s or 30’s, be able to practice at least once a week (we usually play Tuesday nights, and add a day if we can), and be willing to learn songs on your own. Please have your own gear. We’ve had some bad luck with Craigslist in the past so please don’t have a criminal record.

We ve just moved into a new house and folks left us with 3 wild cats. They have been begging for food, so I ve been feeding them, but don't want them to suffer this winter with no protection. Missing Gray Striped Cat (South Hill near WWU)

We are missing our female cat. She is a petite, full grown gray and tan tabby striped cat. She has been missing since Halloween. We live near WWU and a few blocks from Forest and Cedar Park. Texas Fiddle Musician (Whatcom/Skagit Co)

I'm looking for someone in the Whatcom County or Skagit County Area who is familiar with the art of Old Time Fiddle, in the Texas Fiddle Style. I am an intermediate student of the violin, and attend The National Old Time Fiddle Festival annually in Weiser every year. My wife and I are former residents of Weiser and our families still reside there. Since most of the contestents from western WA who compete are from the Seattle area,(Gary Lee Moore, Pete Martin, Vivian Williams...to name a few) they are too far for me to travel to for lessons. I would like to hear from any student/fiddler/teacher from the Whatcom/Skagit area who would be interested in playing/learning /teaching a serious older student the finer points of this wonderful style of music. toddler looking for another toddler friend (3-year-old) (2712 Iron St.)

I take care of my 2 1/2-year-old grandson almost full time and our toddler friend has moved away. We so want at least one more friend; if more than one, need to be in the same family due to child care regulations. As you can see in the photos below, the house is devoted to kid live. Loving Cats to Good Homes (Lynden)

We have four beautiful cats that need homes. Three are three tabbys and one is all black with gorgeous orange eyes. All of which are boys. They were dropped off at our clinic (Lynden Veterinary Hospital) when they were just six weeks old. They've basically only seen the inside of a cage since they were babies. They are now six months old, and desperately need homes. We've had a few interested adopters, but were discouraged when they saw the size of the cats. These guys are full grown, they are no longer kitten size. But they all have amazing personalities, they are litter box trained, they come fully vaccinated and all are neutered. · First part of the workshop will be a discussion about responsive drawing.
· The second part of the workshop will be a responsive drawing demonstration by Trish. (see next page for additional details).
· During the third part of the workshop students will put to work what they have learned about responsive drawing.

· This workshop will be followed with another on Jan 23, 2010 that will take the student into Experimental Drawing through various exercises.
