Band to play Brazilian Music for a Non-profit fundraiser (Bellingham)

We're a Ferndale based non profit that helps rural communities in developing countries become more self-reliant and currently run an entrepreneurship program in the Brazilian Amazon (www.endruralpoverty.org) and we're planning on putting on a Brazilian Carnival party in Bellingham in mid February. We're looking for a band that plays Samba and other Brazilian music to play at the event. While we would of course prefer the band to perform pro bono, since we are small and hope to raise some money through the event, we can pay, if needed.

Wedding Photographer Moving to Washington (All of Washington)

I am currently residing in Rochester, New York. Originally I am from California, near San Francisco. My husband and I have decided to move back to the west coast. We have visited Washington a few times and loved it every time. Our move date is mid-June 2010.

I have built a business here in Rochester but now that I am moving to Washington I need to get my name out there. I am going to do this by offering highly discounted wedding photography! I am doing this for two reasons. Reason one, I live across the country and unfortunately will be unable to sit down and meet with you in person. I am more than willing to talk via email, phone or even using Skype or some other webcam service. The second reason is because I have learned over the years that I get more business by word of mouth than paid advertising.
