We are a loving family who have raised several children and still feel like we have alot of love, happiness, energy and experience left to offer. My husband himself was adopted and we feel like this will give us added insight when we adopt. We have home-schooled and loved the whole experience and are looking forward to doing it all again. We are hoping to adopt a baby or young siblings or maybe both.

We have gone through all the requirements for a state adoption, including the home-study, the background check and more. But we did not like our experience going through the state so we decided to try for an independent adoption using just our attorney for the paperwork. We are just hoping to connect with someone that needs us.

We have a great home on several acres with some farm animals and a great pool. We also live in a beautiful, safe, family oriented community that has been a wonderful place to raise a family. We are hoping to share all of the plus our love and experience with more children.

There are so many more things we'd like to say here about our family but there is just not enough time and space. Is anyone else out there having issues getting into the nursing program, specifically skagit valley college? So far they have lost my paperwork several times and have lost transcripts as well. I have been given the run around with who to talk to to fix certain problems, etc. It seems that there is no communication what so ever at that college! Forming/joining discussion group regarding current events (Bellingham)

Though the title of this posting is very broad, I'll try to narrow it down a bit.

I'd like to join/form a discussion group to talk about the current political/social climate in our nation and worldwide. I believe it is obvious to all that these times we're living in are unlike those we've seen in recent memory. I'm tired of sitting on the outskirts, commenting on current events and feeling helpless to affect real positive change in my local, national, and global community. I don't want to write emails to my representatives from home, I don't want to hold a general protest where nothing gets done, I don't want to see efforts go to waste. I'm tired of THINKING about becoming involved and now (finally) I have started to realize the power of my voice, and along with others, I'd like to get involved.

I'm not asking to join a political group, I don't believe in that stuff. It serves as a tool to divide, rather than bring people together. I'd like to meet up with people who are open to all ideas and all possibilites and most of all, people who are hellishly disillusioned like myself, so that we together can try to make into reality what we've only been dreaming or thinking about.

I want to discuss current bills (in some detail) that are being passed federally and locally.
I'd like to hear peoples' opinions on 9/11 truth, Obama, Climate Change, Religion, Spirituality, and just about everything. It all ties together anyway, right?

This is very broad but I'd like to keep it that way because, for myself, I feel like in the past year up has become down, left is right, men are from venus women are.... ok, you get the idea.

So if anyone out there in internetland is feeling kinda like me, and would be willing to go out on a limb and meet up at some bar or house or hall (doesnt matter) to just get this stuff out there instead of having it fester inside, please reply to this email.
