Primary Purpose:

The work perform by the x-ray technologist involves the performance of many highly complex examinations as part of a medical team, under the general direction of a supervisory radiologist. The technologist must us basic formulae to calculate technical factors, for example to accommodate patients whose bone structure is not of normal opacity as a result of radiation therapy treatments. Examination procedures are frequently made additional complex due to serious illness or injury, mental or physical incapacity of the patient or similar conditions which require the technologist to devise non-standard positioning or equipment set-ups or make it difficult or impossible to communicate with the patient.

Educational Requirements:

Successful completion of an accredited education training program in which:
• Technologist are certified as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists by the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Technologists must be currently certified in Basic Life Support CPR.

Experience Required:

• Two years’ experience in the operation of diagnostic radiology equipment under the direction of a Radiologist or other medical officer to produce radiographic studies/images used in medical diagnosis and treatment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



Education/Experience:





Master’s Degree in Social Work from a graduate School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, or

Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a graduate program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy, or

Doctoral degree in Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association

Clinical license/certification to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner

Looking for a female companion for a smart, sharp, self sufficient, elderly woman who just needs some company a few hours a week. The position would require that you speak english, provide your own transportation, some light housekeeping, and food preparation.

To be honest, you would act as a "mother's helper" of sorts. As my grandmother lives with my mother. Doing some light housework (sweeping, vacuuming, and laundry), and getting a meal started for when she returns home from work about 5:30pm. Your time would be spent exclusively at the house.

Days and times are flexible, but would like a consistent schedule once decided upon. Time would be roughly 2-3 hours, 2-3 days a week. Your time would be spent playing games (dominoes and puzzles), watching the birds out on Bellingham Bay, and chatting with a world travelled woman! Compensation will be between $8-10 an hour.

She is a great woman who just needs someone to chat with! She has an interest in learning Spanish too!
