• Coordinate services with community providers to facilitate a smooth transition to community treatment.

• Provides individual, family or group psychotherapy services utilizing recognized treatment methods or a combination of such methods to reduce psychiatric symptoms and increase client functioning and well-being.

• Provides a comprehensive mental health assessment which concludes with a 5-axis diagnostic conclusion and the development of an appropriate and comprehensive treatment plan.

• Ensures that services and documentation are provided in accordance with community and professional standards of practice

• Ensures that services and documentation are provided in accordance with payor authorization and standards and within the limits of the client¡¦s coverage.

• Provision, as requested by employer, of clinical review and/or supervision of services provided by others.

• Provision of individual or group services and supports to clients using psychoeducational and psychosocial skills development methods to assist them in personal and interpersonal functioning to diminish episodes of illness or instability and to increase their ability to recognize and cope with psychiatric illness.
