wanna jam? (Bellingham)

I have: one acoustic and one electric guitar and a guitar amp. I'm mostly a rhythm player. I also love to play bass but don't have equipment at the moment. I also play a little drums but also lack equipment. Would love to play once or maybe twice a week with folks who are chill but put their heart into their music. I'm down for some covers, but eventually would like to play mostly originals. My influences, U2, Phish, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Death Cab, The Cure, and many more. I'm not a pro, and I'd like to play with people who are creative and have a good ear and intuition rather than mad technical skills. I like simple melodies. Preferably in the mid 20s to mid 30s range, but I'm open to others. No egos and no serious drugs, please. Shoot me a line and we'll get a dialogue going to see if it might work.

Bass Player wanted for good-old Hard Rock (skag/bham)

I'm looking for a bass player to take up the bottom end for me. I'm a 31 year old drummer/songwriter looking to get back into playing music and trying out my songs in the local scene. Currently, I've got about an hours worth of hard rock material that I'm looking to try and form a stage concert around. I've got a 20 year old guitarist who is up for trying his hand at it. I've got a large club size PA system with almost 40 channels of mixing, and 17 stage mics.

I need someone who has pro (LOUD) gear, reliable transportation, reliable personality, and a professional outlook towards music. My life is busy, and I can't get together and practice several hours every other day, so I need people who can practice on their own time as well as with the band. Currently, I'm practicing with the guitar player about once a week. I can provide CDs of all the songs, I can provide just your prospective instrument's tracks, or I can provide a cd with your instrument mixed out so you can play along without having to fight with a duplicate instrument. I can also teach you anything you need help with.

I want to stress that you WILL NOT be told to play anything exactly the way I played it on the CD. Just learn the basics, and add your own style.

I'm looking to start in local clubs and work our way into the Seattle scene. I want the band to be on par, and better than most of the headlining acts that come through town right now. I hope that we can eventually earn a large enough following of fans to host our own local concerts and get away from the control of the bars and clubs.

We need bass player and keys (Bellingham)

We are looking for a bass player and keys to complete our classic rock influenced band. At the moment we have two guitar players, a drummer, and a singer. We are currently playing covers from a variety of bands such as 38 Special, Cream, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, Joe Walsh etc. We also have some originals in progress so if you can help write lyrics that would be a bonus.

We are all busy with jobs and other non-music related commitments so making it to the top or making a lot of money is not a priority for us. But, we also don’t just want to jam all of the time so in the near future we are planning to start playing a couple of shows a month. Since we’re all busy when we get together to practice we are focused and get a lot of work done, but we have a lot of fun at the same time.

Please be in your 20’s or 30’s, be able to practice at least once a week (we usually play Tuesday nights, and add a day if we can), and be willing to learn songs on your own. Please have your own gear. We’ve had some bad luck with Craigslist in the past so please don’t have a criminal record.

I'm looking for someone in the Whatcom County or Skagit County Area who is familiar with the art of Old Time Fiddle, in the Texas Fiddle Style. I am an intermediate student of the violin, and attend The National Old Time Fiddle Festival annually in Weiser every year. My wife and I are former residents of Weiser and our families still reside there. Since most of the contestents from western WA who compete are from the Seattle area,(Gary Lee Moore, Pete Martin, Vivian Williams...to name a few) they are too far for me to travel to for lessons. I would like to hear from any student/fiddler/teacher from the Whatcom/Skagit area who would be interested in playing/learning /teaching a serious older student the finer points of this wonderful style of music. I've got a Guitar Player, Now I need a Bassist! (skag/bham)

I'm a 31 year old drummer/songwriter. I've got a bunch of songs just lying around, and I've thought why not pull 12 or more of the good hard rock/heavy metal songs I've got and make a kick-ass one hour rock show out of. I've got a 20 year old guitar player, two PA systems, 19 mics, 59 channels of mixing, all the necessary cabling, recording gear, and more.

I need a bass player, and a front man who has a good range to his vocals. I would also like a second lead guitarist so both guitarists can play off each other.

I need people that are professional. We all have busy schedules, and mine is constantly changing. So, I need people who can practice on their own as well as within the group. I can provide CDs of the material for you to listen to, and I can help you learn whatever you need assistance with. I need you to have pro level (LOUD!) gear, transportation, and be a reliable person. Other than that, I just want everyone to have fun. I don't have a practice space of my own, but that can be worked on. Currently, we're practicing at the guitarist's home.

The goal is to create a show with a band that can hold their own with the pros. I would like to start doing shows locally, and work our way into the Seattle scene. Hopefully, get enough exposure, and enough local fans that we can ditch the clubs and put on our own shows. But, if it never gets that far, that's ok too. Just as long as it's fun and interesting.

I have been playing the the Appalachian mountain dulcimer for over 20-years. I would like to explore a musical collaboration with an acoustic guitarist. Gigging Rock band seeks Drummer

We are Keefe. We have been gigging in Bellingham for over a year. We have played almost every venue in town twice. Our drummer recently left us because he got his bad ass metal group that he fronts on guitar and vocal off the ground. We have shows booked and no drummer. We need a lead singer! (Bellingham)

We are looking to add a lead singer our classic rock influenced band. At the moment we have two guitar players and drummer. We are looking for a front man or woman with the range to sing a variety of songs by bands such as 38 Special, Cream, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, etc. We also have some originals in progress so if you can write lyrics that would be a bonus. Experience singing with a band is a plus, but not required.

We are all busy with jobs and other non-music related commitments, so making it to the top or making a lot of money is not a priority for us. But, we also don’t just want to jam all of the time so in the near future we’d like to start playing a couple of shows a month. Since we’re all busy when we get together to practice we are focused and get a lot of work done, but we have a lot of fun at the same time.

Please be in your 20’s or 30’s, be able to practice at least once a week (we usually play Tuesday nights, and add a day if we can), and be willing to learn songs on your own. We’ve had some bad luck with Craigslist in the past so please don’t have a criminal record.

We’re also looking for bass player meeting the same criteria.

I've been in a few bands before, and I'm a fairly good guitarist... I'm not a shredder, but a solid rhythm guy. Been playing about 15 years, off and on.
Currently, I'm not in a band and I've just been jamming out with riffs that I've made over the years.

Some of my favorites include: Strung Out, Lagwagon, Lifetime, Descendents, A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi, etc.

WANTED: Hard Rock/Metal Lead Guitarist (skag/bham)

I'm a 31 year old drummer/songwriter. I'm wanting to find a professional hardrock/metal lead guitarist to be a part of a 1 hour concert project I'm trying to put together. I also need to find a bass player, second lead guitarist and a singer to complete the ensemble. But for now, I need someone who can learn my songs and improve upon my playing abilities from the demos I recorded.

I can't describe who I sound like, because I make no efforts to sound like anyone else. I create what is in my head at the time. If it sound like someone else... whatever! My music isn't death metal, at least not yet. Maybe someday I'll try that venture.

I don't have a practice space, but that can be worked on. Also, I need people that are dedicated and professional enough to learn on their own as well as with the group because my work schedule is all over the place, and I'm a late afternoon person. Don't get up before 12pm. I do have a nice PA (two actually), and 59 channels of mixing capabilities.

All I ask is that you have reliable transportation, professional LOUD gear, and a professional attitude.

I'm looking for someone to collaborate with on music - specifically, what I'm looking for is a talented vocalist/lyricist who can contribute to the songwriting process, help flesh out my ideas, and bring new ideas to the table.
