Lost Black and White Kitten

My kitten's name is Iceland. She's been big enough to go outside of my house for about a month now. I haven't seen her since this morning and it's not like her to be gone that long. Dog Walker--CHEAP (Bellingham)

Dreading the winter weather? Not to keen on slogging through the rain and snow because Fido needs a walk? You're in luck! I need some extra cash because my current job just isn't enough to get by on. Because if this I am offering a dog walking service for the winter months. If you would like I can also take dogs to the Lake Padden dog park (I provide transportation). Im going down to a rally in Seattle, November 30th. my pet rat cant stay at home in the cold weather- that and who knows if there will be mass arrests? I love my rat, and am looking for a RESPONSIBLE caring pet sitter for just one night. I might not even stay there over night, it's just incase I get stuck there because I have no vehicle. I could probably come up with about $10. She is two years old, has a little bit of issue with her legs, she cant be played around with, but will let you gently pet her. She does not eat rat food, but I'll provide some veggies and bread for dinner probably. She has a four level super pet cage(about ferret cage sized) I think its about 3ft tall and long. We live in Ferndale, and you would have to have a car/van to transport her cage in.

2 yr old dog needs a new home

I have a 2 and a half year old pointer mix named Jake that I need to find a new home for due to less than favorable situations. He is a great family dog, great with other dogs and small children (I have a 19 month old who he's great with). He's current on all his shots and is microchipped. He's very sweet and likes to cuddle and is an all around great dog. I am asking for a $50 rehoming fee, but he also comes with a kennel, blankets, collar, leash and bowls. I need to have him gone ASAP. Please help me find him a loving home!

Good luck finding an apartment in B-ham that is pet friendly and under $600. Here is the address to a partial list of apartments in Whatcom county and their pet policies. The cheapest I know of is Bakerview Terrace and they start at $640 for a two bedroom. Good luck!

Temporary Foster Home wanted (bellingham)

We are not interested in surrendering our family member, Bailee, a 2 yr. old sweet boxer. To find foster care through the animal facilities we would be required to surrender her. This does not make sense to us.

We are fostering Bailee for our daughter who could not locate an apartment in her price range that would accept a pet.
We have an old Golden. For over a year the Golden and Bailee were friends. Over night this changed. Bailee had been attacked at the dog park by another dog. The day after that Bailee began becoming agressive with our Golden. This has become a lose-lose for both dogs.

We brought in a trainer and have been working with resocializing them, but our old girl sees Bailee as just a snotty nosed "whipper-snapper" and has become grumpy with her. It's a vicious circle.

At the dog park Bailee is great with other dogs. For some reason our Golden threatens her position in the pack. I am sure there are lots of theories we could toss around here.

Bottom line, we live in a small condo. It is not working out between the dogs and has become a burden for us. Still we are unwilling to relinquish Bailee. There is nothing sweeter than when Bailee comes and puts her head on your shoulder. Once our daughter can locate a living situation where Bailee will be allowed, they will be rejoined.

We will pay for food and vet bills etc Our daughter would need to be free to come and take Bailee for outings and to obedience classes etc. The foster care family should be willing to allow Bailee to live in the home and not left alone for long periods, as this is how she lives now. She is well house broken, except for the onery lets see what is left on the kitchen counter trick or garbage.

She is goofy, comical, sweet, stuborn. You will need to be a strong boss with her. Telling her no does not hurt her feelings. Bailee has been in doggie day car in Bellingham, obedience and puppy classes. She goes to the dog parks.

Bailee could be a good dog 4H project.

If there is a family prepared to take on the temporary responsibility, and this sounds like something that would fit into your life, or if you know of someone contact us to begin a conversation.

Free Adult Iguana with custom cage (birch bay)

I have an adult Iguana that I got from an add on here a little over a year ago. When she came to us she had burns on her back from improper heat lamps, we took her to the vet and got her antibiotics and they've healed up since then but she still has scars. 5 Kittens and their mom looking for a great home!! (Lynden)

I have a cat and 5 kittens that i am looking to rehome. The cat is a calico and i found her as a stray 2 months ago, so im not sure if she had any of her shots. She is good with kids and dogs, and is really friendly. I want her to go to a good home!! She is free to a good home!!! :)
THREE of the kittens are females and have some calico in them too, and the other two are males on orange and the other one has blackish paws and the head is black, but the body is all darkish grey. The are really sweet and love being with children, they are also litter box trained and are eating really well!! The kittens are about 2 and a half months old. They are really playful and love sleeping inside and playing outside during the day!! I am asking a rehoming fee of $5 for each kitten!! I would like the kittens and their mother gone sometime this week if possible! I no longer can spend much time with them and they deserve more than i can give them + im almost all out of food for them!!

The WeSnip spay station is looking for some volunteers to help with our growing organization. If you have been reading the posts here we do a real service to the community offering free and low cost spay/neuter surgeries to people in need. In our first year we did over 2,000 surgeries! Whatcom Humane Society has said in that period of time we have been able to affect things so that cat euthanasia rates are down 75%! WeSnip's goal is to reduce pet population so that every animal in Whatcom & Skagit County will have a loving home.

We are looking for volunteers to do our morning registrations (about 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM) and also other functions throughout the organization such as transportation, special events, and other miscellaneous things that need to be done to support our veterinary staff.

Young, healthy, GOOD looking male cockateil (Bellingham, Washington)

I have had this Cockatiel for about four years now, and I got him as a present when he was less than one year old. If you are looking for a bird as a pet, this is one of the most social ones you could find! He LOVES being pet and automatically puts his head down whenever a hand is near. He is very good looking and is very healthy. He has orange cheecks (which he especially enjoys being rubbed), a green tuft of feathers on top of his head, and the main color of his head is yellow. His back feathers have mixtures of white and grey, are good looking and seem to be even symmetrical. I have been able to give him baths in bowls of water, which he really likes. He has even attempted to climb into a cup of water to indicate that he wants a bath! If he sees you enjoying a certain type of food, he may fly over and try to enjoy it with you. He has eaten everything from doritos, to pizza crust, to banana and pumpkin bread, etc. etc. If you place any type of food in his food dish in his cage, he will most likely immediatly move to check it out quickly; and you will be able to see whether or not he enjoys it right away. He really enjoys seed treats and will tear through one in a day or two if it is the right kind! I have found that his favorite seed mixture is Ranch Cockateil Mix. I have not clipped his wings, I believe birds are meant to fly! But that is up to you. He has been known to fly from room to room in order to find you, haha. The best way to find out if you want to possibly buy him or not is to just check him out! Birds do have moods, (as you probobaly now) but for the most part, he is almost always in a good one and just wants to play with you, chew on your clothing, get pet, etc. If you are sitting on your coach watching t.v., he is perfectly content with sitting right next to you doing the same, or cleaning himself. My dog needs a good home, please help!

I have a 2 and a half year old pointer mix named Jake that I need to find a new home for due to less than favorable situations. He is a great family dog, great with other dogs and small children (I have a 19 month old who he's great with). He's UTD on all his shots and is microchipped. He's very loving and just an all around great dog. I am asking for a $50 rehoming fee, but he also comes with a kennel, blankets, collar, leash and bowls. Please help me find my baby a great home! I've been looking for a young friendly albino corn snake, and because I would prefer to adopt the animal rather than purchase one from a breeder, I've been having trouble finding one. I would gladly take an animal that is not albino if it is younger, but because I have had albino pets in the past, I do prefer it. I can give the animal a good home, and as much attention and love as it needs.

Local non-profit animal shelter has many, many used and new pet items. Gently used bedding to new bedding for small animal, ferret, kitty, ect. Food dishes of all sorts, animal carriers of different sizes, cages to acccomidate ferrets, rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, maybe birds, and there are a few small crates for a small dog. There are a toys, tubes and some leashes and harnesses, not to mention shampoo, deodorizers, training aids, flea shampoos, and ear cleaners. You may email on anything in particular, but cage and carrier dimensions are a "come look". There just are too many and not enough time. Most cages run anywhere from $40 up to $150 depending on what you are looking for. Carriers and crates run $12 up to $40. Example: A SuperPet 3 Tier cage with stand that you see regular for around $149-$179 at the pet store is $50-75 dollars here. Most all bedding is hand made for the shelter and large matching 3 piece sets run usually $25. There are $5 sleep sacks and hammocks. We do have some hamster balls, large and small corner litter boxes and also a few fabric carriers. Desperately need a home for 9 cats (Bellingham, WA)

We are desperately seeking a home for nine cats whose owner had a stroke and is no longer able to care for them. They have been taken care of for the last six months but unfortunately we are no longer able to care for them. They are in Tacoma but we can drive them wherever a home can be provided. Unfortunatley we have had no success in trying to find a home for them in the Tacoma area. They are living in a home by themselves, but someone goes there every couple of days to feed them and clean their litter boxes. Statewide Spay/Neuter Help (Washington)

There is a spay/neuter assistance bill that will be reconsidered in the 2010 legislature. This bill would not make spay/neuter mandatory. What it would do is help support the costs of at least 70,000 additional spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats every year. We need this to help end the euthanasia of tens of thousands of animals in our shelters statewide each year--animals that are healthy or treatable, but just can't find a home.

Beautiful all grey female cat needs a new home (Bellingham)

We have one very beautiful all grey cat we love very much. She is very independant, smart, and a good pet (un-neutered, we were looking for a grey male to breed her with.) She was really good with the kids, even the baby, and gets along with dogs well (we have a Lab.) She is a very outdoors cat, or has been. But, our landlord did not allow cats, so we had her at a friends.

The friend has a kitten, and while they got along great, they are not right now. She needs a new home, and is marking to establish her territory at the new house. She never marked at our houses previously, and we almost didn't have to have a cat box, she went outside on her own instead. We were hoping to get her back when we moved out, but it doesn't look like that will happen soon enough for my poor friend who has her.

I hate to do this, but I need to find another place for her. While we would really love to have her back when we move into a new house, we have to accept that she needs to find a new home.

There is no re-homing fee, but we are going to be picky as to where she goes. This is one very loved kitty, and my fiance will not allow her to even come home because she can not bear to leave her again.

my dog is almost a year old she is a pitt bull/ lab mix she is very lovable and at night when it's time to sleep she likes to sleep next to some one. she has had all hers shots and she is fixed (so you don't have to worry about puppies). she's been to obedience school, she loves to cuddle.... she loves to run and walk and she minds well when on her leash. She doesn't do well with other dogs, she was afraid of CATS for a long time but i don't know how she is now with cats....i lost my home, and now i don't have a place for her to stay and i don't think its fair that she has to no where to sleep.
