Important Study Regarding Referendum 71 - gay, lesbian, or bisexual? (Survey open to all Washington LGBT)

ATTN: Washington Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual community WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!

Dear friends,

In consideration of the upcoming Referendum 71 vote (to extend full marriage rights to domestic partners) we at California State University Fullerton are conducting a large psychological research project about the effect this legislation it will have on the LGBT community nationwide. We are looking for GAY, LESBIAN, and BISEXUAL individuals to complete a series of questionnaires both BEFORE the vote and AFTER so we can find answers that may give attention to the critical effect that this sort of legislation has on the personal well-being on LGB individuals. All responses will be held confidential and used for research purposes only.

We're looking for people who meet all the following criteria that will complete the survey:

1. Identify as gay, lesbian, or bisexual
2. 18 yrs or older
3. Willing to complete two additional surveys at separate time points in the future
4. Washington state resident
