Seeking friendships and activity partners (Bend)

So, here I am in beautiful Bend, Oregon! I’m a mid forties divorced father looking for others to enjoy a variety of activities with. I’ve tried the dating scene and have come to the realization that’s not the direction I want to go in at the moment. As I’m heading into a new but interesting journey in my life, I’ve come to see that I can only offer friendship at this time. However, I would absolutely enjoy connecting with others for friendship and a variety of activities that are available to us in Central Oregon. It could be as simple as meeting for a cup of tea, a game night, going out to a movie, enjoying one of the art walks, or having a dinner party with all our friends. Then there are those wonderful hiking trails in the area. Next summer I want to hike up South Sisters, take a rafting trip, and learn to kayak. I also have an interest in ballroom dancing and live music. I’m an artist myself, so I would enjoy meeting other creative people as well. Since I’m open to learning new things, perhaps there’s something you like to do that I’ve never tried before. Wanted: Slowpitch Softball Player (Bend-Redmond)

Looking for a men's "A-C" League softball player for a "C" league team. We are specifically looking for a homerun hitter that is a team player at the same time. Good defense is a plus. We will be practicing about once a month until February. In February and March, practices will be once to twice a week rotating from Redmond to Bend. When the season starts I will need Tuesdays AND Thursdays for practices and games. We also play tournaments. Reliability is key with me, I want somebody that WILL BE THERE to help the team. We are very serious about repeating as "C " league summer champs!! We will probably hold some kind of tryout unless you are a good match with this team.

Co-ed Volleyball Needs Players (Redmond)

There is a co-ed volleyball league that plays at 7:15 pmThursday nights and we are a few players short. The league goes until February or March every Thursday except Holiday weeks. We are looking for guys and girls. You must be at least 18 years old. We play 8 games that go to 25 or 30 minutes per two games. There are currently 8 teams playing. Mens Basketball Highland Church Wednesday night (Redmond)

Every Wednesday night 7pm at Highland Church we play mens basketball. Games go from 7 - 8:30. You must be at least 18 and all skill levels are welcome. Any questions please feel free to email. We currently have between 10 - 15 players every week.

Wanna go Roller Skating??? (Madras to Portland)

We are going roller skating in Portland @ Oaks Park on Saturday. We have a big van with lots of room. If you would like to go please call 541-280-0145. We will be leaving Madras at 4pm... Only $15 to ride up, (per person) then you pay to get in (appx. $10 with skates) then however much you want for food. We usually stop afterwards to eat. Climbing Partner Needed? (smith rock)

I recently moved to Prineville and am looking for climbing partners. While I'm not great at climbing, I know the basics and am willing to try most sport routes (although anything much over 5.10 usually kicks my butt). My gear is very limited (I used to climb with my brother who had rope and quickdraws, so I currently only have shoes, harness, and belay device). I was expecting a lot more interest in climbing from people in Prineville (since it is only 15 minutes from Smith) but have been amazed at the lack of people interested in climbing. The plan was to buy the gear I was missing when I moved here, however, if I can't find some climbing partners I don't want to gear up and not have anybody to go with. If anybody is interested in climbing at Smith and wants a partner shoot me an email!

Ladies! Kickball? (B e n d)

Hey there!

Are you a girl? And more importantly, do you like to have fun? If that's two yes' so far, do you like to play kickball? If you answered yes to all three, then we would love to have you on our league kickball team this coming season!

The scoop: Bend Parks & Rec is putting on an adult kickball league starting in November, and we're short on girl players. Right now we there are 8 guys on the team, but no girls! We find this pretty sad, because since it's a co-ed league, we need at least 3 women or we won't be able to play! Many of us are new to the area and don't know many people (girls), and the recruiting we've been doing at the local bars hasn't been working too great (Let's just say they'll be really drunk excited, we'll give our number to call, and we get nothin). It's a bummer, but it will change.

We're all in our 20's, and to play you must be at least 18! Right now we're good for male players, we are in dire need of female players!

The games are ever Tuesday night, at some hour between 6 to 9, and the games are played at the Bend Field House.
