Javelin Brunello 60cm (Prineville) $1600

I have a beautiful Javelin Brunello that has very few miles on it (approx 800). It is a 2006 model but has been stored in a very clean basement for the last couple of years. Components are all Dura-Ace. Seat, post, forks, handlebars, rear triangle and crankset are all carbon fiber. It's really a beautiful bike but I don't need a bike this nice and I'm trying to pay for additional education. This bike would be perfect for race for a second training bike or a beginning racer that needs an extremely nice bike but may not be ready spend the thousands necessary. This bike originally retailed for $5,500.

Giant Road Bike (Bend) $500

I am selling a Giant tcr-2 road-race/tri bike. It was made in 2002, it has been adult owned and kept in great condition. It has a carbon fiber fork and seat-post, and aluminum frame. Its a great bike and incredibly fast. I also have a bike computer unit on it that tells you things like trip distance, current speed, average speed, top speed low speed....etc. ($75 value) This is a great bike for a varity of sizes. I'm 6'2 and the bike was a bit small for me. But the extended carbon fiber seat post gives a lot of flexibility in what sizes this bike can be condusive too. I am selling this bike for $500 but I'm willing to hear offers. I will send pictures to those interested (haha will have to borrow a camera) but i can text some pictures if your interested. This has been my wife's bike for several years but we decided to get her a full suspension bike so this one has to go! This is a good mid-level hardtail with a few scratches and paint chips but mechanically very clean and working well. A good bike for Bend, for sure.

Vintage Hamilton Racing Bike (Bend) $495

This is the third custom Hamilton 24 inch wheeled bike produced by the brilliant Ralph "Hamilton" Lewis bike designer. It was made for me in 1987 and allowed me to complete the 300 mile Bay Area Triple in less than one day and also several Markleville Death Rides.

I have since started riding a Lemond titanium racer with brake shifters. I haven't ridden the Hamilton much so think it's time for someone else to enjoy this unique bicycle.

Ralph 'Hamilton' Lewis believed that using 24 inch wheels made for less rolling resistance, faster acceleration and stronger wheels. I can verify that he achieved his aims. One of his bikes was used in The Ironman. Unfortunately he went out of business before he could make very many. He didn't sell enough fast enough to establish a successful business (very common for many entrepreneurs).

Because of using 24 inch wheels he had to make a much bigger frame and also use a bigger chainring to get the higher gears. This resulted in a very unusual looking bike. He used nothing but the best available tubing and equipment at the time to achieve his masterpiece.
The bike is all Shamano DuroAce except for the rear deraileur which is Shamano Deore XT which was necessary to handle the wide range of gears on the bike. He used Tange Prestige CRMO Double Butted Tubes for the frame, a Ritchey pro handle bar, Shamano end-bar shifters, Misral rims and Panaracer Pasela tires. He also supplied an extra set of wheels using sew-up tires.

The paint job is a very beautiful metal-flaked maroon.

This bike was built for a tallish person like myself (6',2"). I don't know the range of heights that this bike is suitable for but with stem and seat adjustments I'm sure it could be made to fit a lot of taller folks.

So, if you want a beautiful fully functional classic bike to ride or collect that will gather much attention on the road and performs very well then check this rare bike out.

BTW, if you know of any other Hamiltons out there I would love to hear from you. Or if you know the whereabouts of Ralph Lewis please let me know. Unfortunately, I lost touch with him years ago.
