Canon 17-40 f/4L - Like New (Bend) $600
Another near-perfect Canon lens. Selling because I've switched camera systems.
This lens is in like-new condition. The glass is perfect - no spots, scratches, fungus, etc. I can see no dust in the lens, but because of the focal length and zoom, it is more difficult to tell than a 50mm prime, for example. Interested buyers are welcome to check this themselves to confirm how clean this is. Cheaper than new, KEH, or ebay prices, and you can make a face-to-face transaction and examine before purchase (and be shooting with this lens the same day without expensive shipping!)
I'm the original owner, purchased new, and have never used this lens in sand, dust, rain, or snow, though like other L-series lenses, it has rubber seals and could probably take it. Gives a nice wide/standard range on crop-sensor bodies as I have always used it, or a great ultrawide zoom for those with full-frame bodies.
Includes the lens pouch, lens hood, front/rear caps, and all packaging and literature. I did cut out the barcode on the box for rebate at the time of purchase.

The "thrifty fifty" may be a great bargain, but the focus ring is tiny and the lens feels cheap. This little lens is sharp when you need it to be, provides shallow depth of field when you want it. I have L-series glass, also for sale, and I preferred this lens.
Includes all original packaging and paperwork, both lens and rear caps.
Get a barely used lens for less than new or ebay, and buy local. Why wait or buy from an unknown seller when you can buy face-to-face and examine the lens before buying?

I figured because the MSRP on this camera is $5999 I would ask only $3300 for it but because it didn't sell I lowered all the way down to $2900.
