So, I know Berlin has a good alternative club scene, but I don't know anyone here that would want to go to these sort of places with me. Anyone else in the same situation? By alternative I mean anything like rock/ goth/ metal/ industrial etc.

Play tennis on Sunday 22.Nov.09 from 8 to 9 a.m. (Berlin)

Hi, I have reserved an indoor tennis court every Sunday from 8 to 9 a.m. for half a year. In these weeks my parnter are not in Berlin. Therefore, I seek some one to play with. The location is near S bahn Messe Süd. And the inside atmosphere is warm and windless. There are also showers and WC.
I am intermediate level and you should take your own racket. See you then.

Hi, I'm English, 23, finished university this year and moved to Berlin two months ago to improve my German (I learnt German at school, but that was a long time ago!). My grammar is ok, but I really need to practice speaking (and understanding people) so I'm looking for a tandem partner, male or female, preferably around 18-30. Hebrew anyone? (Neukölln)

Hello, I am a beginning modern Hebrew student and would like to find someone to study with. I live in Neukölln and was thinking we could meet up once a week or so to study and go over things.

In the case that you're more advanced in your Hebrew studies, but would still like to meet, I would also do a tandem and receive Hebrew in exchange for: cat care advice, styling consultation, recipe exchange, but also German (my native language) and/or English.

Climbing at Magic Mountain

I am looking for someone to go climbing regularly, ie once a week in the evening, at Magic Mountain @ nearby Gesundbrunnen, in Wedding. Mondays to Thurdays starting from 19.30 or 20.00 would work especially well for me:

I am a 43 yr old german male, fit, and know how to climb, but am certainly not an expert or pro - that means I can do grades 4 or 5 with pleasure, but won't aspire to do 6 or beyond that. I am looking for someone who enjoys climbing for the exercise and the fun part, but not for challenges or competition. Would prefer a male partner.

German - English teaching swap (Berlin)

I am looking to swap English lessons for German lessons on a one-to-one basis once a week for an hour or so. I am Danish but have lived and worked in the UK and US for the last seven years and have taught English before. I need to improve my German, but as I am currently on maternity leave I need one-to-one classes as I will have to bring my three months old daugther along (she is very easygoing though so shouldn't be a problem for learning/talking).
I imagine meeting up once a week for an hour or one and a half hours, speak German for half the time and English half the time, do exercises and grammar when needed, but I am flexible. The most important thing for me is to practice my German and have someone correct my (many) mistakes.
