Artist needs short term assistant for major commission (Mitte)

I am an American artist based in Berlin, and I am looking for a short term assistant to help me with a major commission. The commission is by a major theatre, and it is an installation/performance piece. The performance takes place November 28, so I need someone for a few days leading up to that. You could potentially start Monday. I need help making a large scale drawing that will be a component in the installation. The technique being used is a way of tracing, so although some drawing skill is necessary, no rendering is involved. The work is monotonous for the most part, but we will be working together on it. All the work takes place inside the theatre itself, so you won't be stuck in a dingy cold studio either.
I cannot pay, but I hope someone might think of this as a worthwhile experience. Perhaps you are a student, or are curious about becoming more involved in the Berlin art scene. I recently was in a show in New York, and I have a solo exhibition coming up in May in Berlin. Das Praktikum bietet Einblick in alle Bereiche eines Mode- Labels- vom Design über die Modellentwicklung bis hin zur Produktion. Während Ihrer Zeit bei INAT werden Sie mit eigenständigen Aufgaben in den Bereichen Design, Schnitt, Marketing, Produktion, Verkauf und betriebsspezifischen Aufgaben betraut. Eigenverantwortliches Arbeiten und kreatives Engagement werden vorausgesetzt und unterstützt.

Die Attribute Modern. Simple. Chic fassen die Philosophie des Labels INAT prägnant zusammen. INAT steht für Klarheit in der Gestaltung und Seriosität in der Ausführung der Kollektionen, die wesentlich sind für den modernen Look. Das Spiel mit dem Femininen und Maskulinen zieht sich durch die gesamte Ausrichtung des Labels. Der Name INAT steht für Eigensinn und Entschlossenheit, für Durchsetzungsvermögen und Dickköpfigkeit.

Anforderungen:

• abgeschlossenes Modedesign bzw. Bekleidungstechnik- Studium

• erste Erfahrungen im Mode-Biz von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend

• Modebegeisterung, Kreativität und Umsetzungsstärke

• Zuverlässiges und analytisches Arbeiten, schnelle Auffassungsgabe

• Einsatzbereitschaft und Anpassungsfähigkeit

• teamorientierte, selbständige und engagierte Arbeitsweise

• Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

• gute Kenntnisse in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook und Power Point) und Illustrator-Kenntnisse, Näh- und Schnittkenntnisse







Dauer: 3 Monate- Nach Absprache verlängerbar bzw. Anstellung möglich

We are starting a new Free Music Record Label. We need help with design and especially with programming what we think will be a CSS Website. The project has no Budget so looking for someone searching for experience and the desire to get involved with awesome Berlin based Musical Collective.
