Comprehensive Geriatric Services (CGS) is a leading provider of behavioral health services to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout Maryland. In addition, we also provide comprehensive assessment to those who experience memory difficulties and associated challenges in daily activities at our Memory Centers.

We are seeking a full-time medical biller to work in our Towson office. Responsibilities include: accurately post charges for various behavioral health disciplines in database, follow up with facilities to obtain patients’ missing face sheets for billing, and communicate with assigned clinicians regarding patient accounts.

The qualified candidate will have the following:
• 1 years billing experience in a medical environment. Behavioral health experience preferred but not required
• Must have completed a medical billing course through an accredited educational program
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes
• Knowledge of Medical Mastermind, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• Must be well organized with the ability to multi-talk in a fast paced environment

Medical Office Assistant

Medical Office Assistant needed for small medical practice, must be good
phlebotomist, having knowledge of EKG and PFTs. Duties will include
checking patients in, verifying insurance, collecting co pays and balances,
getting patients and chart ready to be seen, also checking patients out and
giving medication instructions. Must be willing to do back office duties
such as entering charges and posting payments, when not busy with patients. Friendliness toward patients and families and a good attitude are very important
