I've been living in Berlin for 2 years for an academic graduate program but unfortunately haven't had the time to learn German well. My boyfriend is also learning the language himself so no help there either ;) I'd love to partner with (preferably female) a German native-speaker to practice my German and for me to help with her/his English (American accent - the sexiest of them all! lol). German courses for women (Berlin-Friedrichshain)

The Women's Wheel offers German courses in small groups of 2 to 5 students. Our teaching approach is student-centered, i.e. geared towards the needs of our students, and we seek to make the lessons as communicative as we can. Courses are run by an experienced and qualified teacher who can, if necessary, explain grammar in English.

At the moment, you can join an A2 level course, which runs on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11-12 am, or a beginners course, which runs on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10-11am.

For both courses, the fee is 64 euros per month. For December, the fee will only be 48 euros, as we break one week before Christmas.

We also offer individual lessons, a language exchange service and German/English events for women.

I am a qualified and university educated native speaker of English who has recently moved to
Berlin. As I am currently trying to build-up a clientele I will be offering English lessons
at heavily discounted prices for the next several months.

If you are interested in improving your English please send me a brief e-mail explaining your current level of proficiency (e.g. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), what you would particularly like to improve (e.g. your ability to read, write or converse in English).

Prices are 8 Euros/60 Minutes or 10 Euros/90 Minutes.

I am also available to proofread, edit and discuss research papers and dissertations, at a rate of 1 Euro per page (10 page minimum).

You won't believe how pleasant learning Chinese can be (15 Euro an hour)

but gives personal tutoring to Americans via phone or Skype.
