Mainstream Single with upcoming Video needs backing female vocals. (Berlin)

I´m still in the look out for the right female singer for completing the song for which I spent a considerable amount of time in the last few months. Especially as me and my team made a professional music video for it(about to be released in a few weeks). This project basically became possible when it received 2 sponsorships from a major video equipment producer and a very cool club in Berlin(where we actually shot the video).

In particular, as the lead voice is a male voice, powerful on the chorus but whispery on the verse, some easy but effective female backing vocals are urgently needed. Parts are ready, they just need the right voice, not only in terms of technique but also in terms of sound, timbre and expression.

Song is in English, so unless your accent is horrible (as it´s about backing vocals), and you got the above mentioned qualities, we can work it out.

Please write if seriously and well-intentioned, as deadline is coming soon, adding a link where I can check your voice (myspace or similar). Then we´ll see from there. I answer everybody.

We are serious professional classically-trained musicians who have come all the way from Canada to re-form our band in Berlin and start touring around Europe as soon as possible. We have released two professionally-produced EPs so far and our music has been played on independent radio stations all over the world.

Looking to fill a spot for a 3 piece electro-soul band, a sensitive but collaborative (females welcome) and open-minded person who is able to play keys and/or electronic gear, and sing backup (not always at the same time!). We currently are a 2 man group consisting of a vocalist/instrumentalist, and a bassist/vocalist/sampler and would like to expand the group one more person. The live music is a mix between a dj'd music feel, and a live band feel, drawing from minimal house as a base, but using the vocal as a variable. Or idea is to add a true musician to the mix to make it feel more live. It is probably just the kind of thing for a person who likes to wear many hats on stage, so to speak, but is not an old musical dinosaur who also embraces the new musical technology (i.e. Ableton live, Native Instruments, AKAI MPC etc. Maybe we are looking for another Aquarian...?).

The music is on my website to get a feel for what i am doing songwriting-wise, although in the live set, it is different, more as a dj set with a house/minimal techno feel, but of course with a soulful vocal:

We miss a guitar in the house but find it unpractical to buy one since we would have to bring it back with us on the plane.

We can offer a little rent and of course change the strings to brand new ones before we hand it back. We will treat your guitar nicely.
