A small but successful DJ entertainment service has expanded into photo booth rentals and is seeking confident, reliable, well-mannered individuals to operate booths at social events, primarily weddings, in upstate NY.

Qualified persons will:

1) have reliable transportation with large cargo space. The booth is portable and when broken down it fits into a small SUV or large hatchback.

2) be fairly strong. The heaviest single component of the booth requiring lifting is probably 50lbs or less, but when the booth is packed into road cases for transport each case weighs 100-150lbs. To load them into a vehicle will require a fair bit of strength.

3) own attire suitable for formal events. Generally black pants with a shirt and tie, jacket optional for men or a pant suit for women.

4) be will to work weekends, especially Saturdays.

5) have other income. This work is fun and pays well, but is very seasonal and even in peak season sometimes you will only work 3 or 4 days in a month.

Actors for Fake Wedding (Charity Event) (Binghamton, NY)

We are a non-profit organization that will be hosting a charity event (fundraiser) on Saturday, February 27, 2010.

We need actors for the following (and would prefer a group of people who have already worked together on other gigs):

1. 10 suspects (suspect wedding crashers and non-wedding crashers and someone to perform a heist or a murder (we can't decide) - like a murder mystery only it's a wedding and there will be crashers and a heist or a murder that takes place; the audience (the attendees) will be shown all 10 actors/actresses and throughout the event will try to figure out who are the actual crashers and the thief/murderer) or something like that. Kind of like the game Clue only Wedding Clue.

2. bride, groom, and wedding party

We're hoping to find a group that would do this as a probono gig; however, we are a 501c3 and can provide tax receipts for market value of acting services.
