Entry - Junior Level Graphic Designer needed (BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHSIDE)

TEMPORARY/FREELANCE POSITION/PART TIME -10-15 HRS WEEK $12 TO $15 PER HOUR..


Principal Responsibilities include:

•Works with Art Directors to resolve issues related to concept, design, deadlines, and priorities; work is reviewed by Art Director at various intervals to ensure goals are met

•Collaborates with Art Directors, and/or other creative staff to develop and conceptualize, produce and finish a project, both with a team of Artists and/or independently

•Wiling to take a lead OR supportive role in accomplishing design goals

•Assess time frame for development and implementation against project deadlines and prioritizes time and resources accordingly, making adjustments when needed; keeps project team informed of job status

•Tracks production times to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met

•Creates logo designs, print ads, page layout etc.

•Has working knowledge of Mac OSx and graphic design software packages

I'm a recent college grad with a degree in Interior Design. I have interned with two highly respected design firms in Birmingham but would love to take on a few small-scale residential jobs now that I'm done with school.
