• Program/Project Promotion: Participates in VHA operational or planning meetings, and conferences. Assists with the development of strategies for effective communication of program information. Serves as national authority for the program/s assigned. Acts as liaison with policy-level officials within VHA.

• Coordinates Program/Project Activities: Provides logistical and program leadership and management of independent study courses, seminars and workshops, satellites, online learning, videos and print materials in continuing medical education topics. Facilitates the selection of appropriate instructional methods. Evaluates and develops effective instructional materials for subject matter experts.



QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
• High degree of experience with Government programs/projects and the accreditation process for multiple clinical disciplines requiring continuing education and working knowledge of multiple clinical accrediting bodies.
• Master’s degree
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in use of desktop and laptop computer systems including: Microsoft Office XP, Excel, Outlook, Web browsers, and the ability to learn new software
