Info for anyone wanting a dog from a breeder (everywhere)
This is an FYI for most people that don't know very much about how breeding works for dogs. These "teacup" Yorkies are simply overbred sick runt dogs. Chorkies, Chugs any other weird name you see - these are simply overpriced mutts. You should be paying no more than an adoption fee as you would from a shelter (which is around $150.00 - paying any more you are being CONNED).
Want to see if the person you are buying from is a REPUTABLE BREEDER? Ask for the certificates of genetic health testing for the parent dogs. This is not a simple vet check. Genetic health tests include the following:
Eye exams (CERF)
Thyroid (OFA)
Heart (OFA)
Hips and elbows (OFA or PENN-HIP) - Hips and elbows are done once, after the age of two years. A panel of three vets reads the x-rays and grades them.
These are the only ways that a breeder would be able to ensure that you are getting a healthy dog and anyone that would spend that kind of money to make sure they are breeding quality pups are not doing it for profit, they are doing it to better the breed and that, my friends, is why purebreds are usually more than these "designer breed" dogs (Pomchis, Labradoodles, Chugs, teacup Yorkies, etc.)
Want to know if it's even a real breed that you're buying? Please go to the American Kennel Club's or the Canadian Kennel Club's website and search the breed name there. If it isn't listed there, it isn't a real breed.
Also, buyer beware, if someone says their dogs are CKC registered - it could mean they are registered with the Contintental Kennel Club which is a CON. You could register a giraffe as a German Shepherd with that kennel club.

Well at last someone broke it down about all this "designer" dog breeding bull crap! Did you know all you have to do to register a dog with the CKC is take some pictures, and send them in..? If it looks somewhat purebred, they will "register" it. Don't pay extra for a dog with CKC papers.. Why not adopt a pet from the shelter, at least you are getting a dog that is altered and microchiped. People on craigslist are making money off selling, oh I mean, re-homing mutts.. But are so quick to flag someone selling AKC puppies.. Did you know most reputable breeders don't make any money off a litter? By the time the money is spent with various health screens on parents, vacinations, quality food, stud fees, showing and getting titles on parent dogs.. They do it to better their dog's breed.. These back yard breeders take short cuts selling whatever dogs they can get their hands on. Thats why they can sell them for "small re-homing fee".

Lapcat desperately needs your lap! (Birmingham)
A few months ago, my son and I rescued this cat from the streets where he had either been lost or abandoned.
He was nothing but skin and bones when we found him. He turned out to be an angel so we named him Gabe (short for Gabriel the Ark Angel).
It seems he may have been well cared for at one point because he is neutered.
He is very healthy now and has a very sweet personality. Unfortunately I have two dogs. (Two real BIG dogs who LIVE to chase cats.) We've been able to give Gabe his own room but very soon we are moving so we need to find him a new home.
Of course he is litter box trained. His disposition is very laid back, not at all skittish!
He is very loving and just wants to sit on a lap and purr. He's always purring and I think he would sit on my lap and purr for hours at a time if he could.
Isn't it ironic that it's the angel that needs a miracle this time...

Hey Alabama, first off, congrats on the stellar season the Crimson Tide had. Wow. That defense is nasty. I spent some time in Alabama when we shot Talladega Nights. We stayed in Birmingham. I had what may have been the best ribs ever and also found a great restaurant that made amazing mojitos.
We shot during an actual race at Talladega and I'll never forget that massive crowd and the crazy fun of the infield and the parties they had.
So clearly you're a state that loves America, believes in hard work and God. I got the sense that Alabama is a place where people don't want handouts and don't much care for people talking out of the side of their mouth.
So here's my question: why do you keep electing Senator Shelby?
I know that with all the news being owned by big corporations it's hard to get real information. And with having to work or look for work it's even harder to search for the true story so that's why I thought I'd let you know what Shelby's been doing in the Senate Banking Committee. Currently he's doing everything he can do to kill the creation of a Consumer Financial Protection Agency. This is a watchdog agency that would be created to make sure working people don't get ripped off by big Wall Street Banks and credit card companies.
So why would Senator Shelby fight against the interests of the people of Alabama? Simple. Cause those same banks and credit card companies are the ones who give him a ton of cash. Here's a list of his biggest donors.
I can't imagine any person I met in Alabama being cool with their elected official doing the bidding of giant financial institutions over the working families he's supposed to represent.
Now I know some of you might think I'm some liberal Hollywood type but that's also not true. I was born in Colorado and grew up in Pennsylvania with family in Texas and Oklahoma. The big banks and credit card companies, and health insurance companies have spent billions trying to get you to dismiss truths like this by dismissing it as liberal agitating.
If you don't believe me please call Shelby's office and ask -- (202) 224-5744. They might tell you he is supporting creation of a financial protection agency but they're not being completely truthful. Shelby and Democrat Evan Bahy from Indiana both want the agency to be under the control of the Federal Reserve which is made up of...you guessed it, the very same private, for-profit banks the agency is supposed to regulate. Sneaky shit, eh? Ask them why they think that will work. At the point they will give you some answer about the Federal Reserve being an institution of integrity. Then you know they'll BS'ing you. Tell them you're from Alabama and for them not to treat you like a fool. Then say the magic words: if Senator Shelby doesn't support an independent Financial Protection Agency I won't vote for him.
A few dozen calls will get his attention.
The other problem is that we the people don't have billions of dollars to fight for this. All we have is our vote. But it's powerful. Without it Senators like Shelby and Bayh and Leiberman and McConnell have to go home.
One other question you may have is "why do you care Mr. Hollywood?" Well once again, I've only lived in Los Angeles for five years and I care because I have kids and I love this country. If these banks and credit card companies keep raising rates and charging crazy fees our country will go into another great depression. That means people will be out of work and we as a whole will suffer. That's why I care.

Alabama Spay/Neuter License Plate Program
To participate in the Alabama Spay/Neuter License Plate Progam you must meet the following qualifications:
1.) Must be an Alabama Medicaid recipient. Not Medicare!
2.) Client must show photo identification matching the name on the Alabama Medicaid
card.
3.) Client must be a resident of Alabama.
4.) Client is only allowed 2 surgeries per household per year.
5.) Client will have to pay a $10.00 co-pay per cat and a $20.00 co-pay per dog
(which will be collected by the clinic.)
6.) The Medicaid cardholder must sign the surgery form. If cardholder is an invalid or
child, parent/guardian may sign for them. Signor must note the relationship to the
Medicaid cardholder.

We have a beautiful female pit bull that we got about 6 months ago.She is not registered. She is about 1 year old and she has been spayed. All shots up to date. We already had another dog when we got her, and she doesn't get along with our dog, so we are looking for her a good home where she can be given a lot of love and attention. Guitarist looking to jam, maybe start a band
I am a nineteen year old guitarist from Alabaster, AL. I write music, work on improving my own sound, and am constantly working to play my instrument better. Recently, when my band dissolved, I continued to strive for this goal, but am now left with a lot of skill and written music, that I have no reason or way to use. To remedy this, I'm trying to find some serious musicians to jam with. I don't have any real major problems with genre as long as you can mix it with my own adaptable style(although I am mostly rooted in hard rock/post-hardcore). I do ask that any instrumentalist who would reply to this ad have more than a 30 watt amp... This is merely because I want to have the opportunity to play on stage if the chance arises. So, to put it bluntly, 100 watts and up, or don't reply. Any vocalists can come too, all i ask is that you KNOW you have a good voice, and don't just think so (I will be brutally honest when I hear you). Screaming is acceptable, but the same conditions apply. I prefer original music, although covers are not frowned upon. Anything else, we can basically discuss when I get a reply. I am glad to jam with any musician, whether they be a vocalist, bassist, drummer, keyboard, fellow guitarist, all that jazz. Last condition, please be out of high school, or graduating this year if you plan on replying. Other than that, all ages are acceptable. You can see some of my solo work on:
