I have a 4 year old 5 bed 4 full bath home in desiable neighborhood priced in the 380,000 range. The house orignally listed for 420,000 has a metal roof, rocking chair front porch, rear screened in porch, designer kitchen, and a brick outdoor fireplace on the patio. The house was built as an earth-craft house to keep your utilities to a minimum. I would swap for a house in the same or slightly higher or lower price range in the Hoover, Pelham, hwy 280 area or Vestavia Homewood area.
