Advertising Account Exec Needed. (Jasper)

The "wordiness of this listing has been brought about due to my having been given a long list of "acceptable material" that I'm told MUST be included in all "help wanted" posting on craigslist. I did not see the need in hiring an attorney to write this ad - which is what Craigslist seems to require - so, I'll TRY to include everything they seem to wany to require in order to allow the posting to remain on the site:

1) What will they actually be doing? Candidates will be contacting local businesses and selling advertising. We cannot really be more specific as we do all kinds of marketing by such menas as radio, TV, print, internet, banners, billboards, etc.

2) What are the hours? Please see the information below.

3) No links. Which is a STUPID requirment as it helps a potential candidate in researching our company but, as this is a craigslist requirement, then so be it! No links but, the station website can be found at 977foxfm(dot)com. See? No links. I can also be called at 205.282.2036 and I do hope that this is not a craigslist violation, as well but, I like to let people know what we're all about.

4) What is the pay, specifically? The pay will be entirely dependent upon how much the applicant is willing to work. This position has no set hours for work and the corect term is "willing to work around your desired schedule" which can net you from $300 to $500 weekly. (for example: We had one lady who only wanted to earn $200 weekly so, she worked between two and four hours daily on Mondays and Tuesdays only.) Yes, this DOES mean that someone who does not show up and who does nothing will earn NOTHING.

I do believe this help wanted ad does now include each and every detail that I was ordered to include so as to meet with the posting requirements of craigslist. Should anyone find me to be in violation in any way, shape or form, please keep in mind that I am merely a simple local business owner with a job opening who is seeking to fill it in an area with a 14% rate of unemployment. I will apologize for any craigslist transgressions in advance of having them pointed out to me.

A division of EBSCO Industries is seeking an individual that is interested in a marketing internship opportunity or a marketing grad seeking a contract/temp opportunity. This position will assist with marketing, sales support, and related administrative work.
