Milk Snakes with rack (Hayden)

I am getting out of milk snakes and I have three left that are adult Pueblans I have decided to rehome. One is a hypomelanistic female, $50(2years old, not many true hypos of these species around), one is a bright red, narrow banded female(3 years old), $80 and the other is a large dark phase male, with harldy any white bands(3.5 years old) $80 or take all three for $200. All have been cooled and I am currently rotating the male in and out of both females enclosures, so they both could be gravid. Lapcat desperately needs your lap! (Birmingham)

A few months ago, my son and I rescued this cat from the streets where he had either been lost or abandoned.
He was nothing but skin and bones when we found him. He turned out to be an angel so we named him Gabe (short for Gabriel the Ark Angel).
It seems he may have been well cared for at one point because he is neutered.
He is very healthy now and has a very sweet personality. Unfortunately I have two dogs. (Two real BIG dogs who LIVE to chase cats.) We've been able to give Gabe his own room but very soon we are moving so we need to find him a new home.
He is very loving and just wants to sit on a lap and purr. He's always purring and I think he would sit on my lap and purr for hours at a time if he could.

Isn't it ironic that it's the angel that needs a miracle this time...

I am fostering a full blooded female german shepherd that I rescued off the road. I tracted down the owner by vets because the dog has a splint on her front leg. I spoke to the owner and she admited to throwing her out because she said she could not afford her. I have spoke with the vet and he said the dog will need the splint for about another 2 weeks and she will be as good as ever. she is a wonderful dog, she thinks she is a baby but she is almost 4 years old. she would be a perfect family dog. she loves kids and being around people. I dont know how she is around other animals yet. I am adopting her out to the right family. I STRESS THE WORD FAMILY BECAUSE THERE ARE BAD PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT WOULD TRY AND GET HER TO SELL HER. Spay/Neuter $18 (Shelby County Area)

Hey. I wanted to share a little information with you all. Shelby County Humane Society has a program called Quick Fix. This program allows you to have your dog/cat spay/neutered and micro chipped for $18. You have to send in a request form and they will call you back with the location you should meet the bus to drop your animal off at. Your animal will then be transported to either Columbiana, Calera, Alabaster, etc vet clinic and will have the procedure done. Later that day they will meet you back at the same location and exchange your pet back to you. You may also get a variety of animals shots for as low as $10 as well as rabbi vaccination for $10. I know how expensive the prices are to have an animal fixed, trust me. I have two dogs and a cat that I was unable to get spay/neutered because I couldn't simply afford it. It doesn't may me a bad parent, nor does it make you a bad parent, it's just the way the economy is right now. I think you all should look into this. You can find more information at shelbyhumane.org You may also call/email the director. They have very heavy call/email volume and it took me two days to hear back from anyone. However, that is not bad at all. They are friendly and most of all they are trying to help out the community. When I read the craigslist post about puppy mills and people buying dogs to produce more dogs, it makes me angry and frustrated, however, it's life. People will do almost anything to make a quick buck. We have to do our part by having our animals spay/neutered. Thank you.

Please Spay/Neuter your animals!!! (Everywhere!)

I just wanted to share a clinic that will spay or neuter your animal for alot less than vets charge. I got my last dog spayed there. They wet AWSOME! She was taken very good care of to. They are located in Birmingham off of Crestwood Blvd. I also have a friend that works there. She LOVES animals & would not work there if they were not good to the animals. My other dog is going in the morning to get spayed as we had such a good experience the 1st time. The staff is very friendly & warm. They will answer any questions you might have as well. They also accept the spay & neuter certificates that you can get.

PLEASE spay or neuter your animals. This will help ALOT on unwanted puppies being put into pounds. It will also keep alot of dogs off the streets that will die b/c they are not being properly taken care of. So please consider this. It will also keep people from buying dogs to be in back yard puppy mills. Those places are SO sad to see & hear about. It breaks my heart. I hope you will see this & consider looking into getting your dog either spayed or neutered.

Brown Dog Found on Oxmoor Road (Homewood)

He did not have a collar and has no microchip. Finders thought he was lost, as he is very sweet and comes when called. However, he was scared of being inside a house or car, so he may be a stray. The vet said he is a shepherd/chow mix. He is still a puppy and weighs around 30 lbs. He is currently at Standifer Animal Clinic and they will keep him for 6 more days.
