This is done by a famous artist who was born in Boston in the 1800's....it is what I would consider a 'print', THOUGH...it is NOT, one of those prints anyone could get online for about $12....does that make sense? If not, just email me...

The artist's name is Harry (F.) Van Der Weyden....and the pic is dated 1923....

THE PICTURE FRAME itself is worth the price I'm offering....and I was actually told this by a professional...it's a antique/vintage gold gesso frame, or so they are refered to as... it's beautiful!

You can see by the pics the colors in the painting, THOUGH this artist was part of the FIRST in the illumist movement....so the pics don't do the lighting justice...

I purchased this item from an estate sell, years ago....and on the back, never touched or tried to remove is an inscription in pencil--"was told not another one like it in the world"
It is prof framed with wire hanger...

Set of musical dogs! SO CUTE! (NRV) $10

Here is the cutest pair of musical dogs for anyones collection! I got it at an estate sell about a year or so ago...and have kept these soul puppies around until now--I'm running out of space! One depicts a drummer and the other a bass player? There is no visible damage on either, EXCEPT for the tip of the bass players instrument--it looks like there is some glue residue from MANY years ago--but I won't touch it to try and remove it--BUT NO ONE notices it, if you just use them for display...that's why they are so cheaply priced--but either way...keep one and give one away--do you know a little drummer? Give him a unique gift for christmas..
Now I'm not sure what year they were made, or who made them...@ the bottom of each, it looks like they had a sticker on them...but you can see they've been removed...now honestly, I don't know what kind of material they are made from...they are heavy, but it's not ceramic...or glass, etc...almost like a heavy and hard plaster, if that makes sense---you'll have to decide yourself...

I'm including pics, so you get an idea...
I REALLY did enjoy these guys...esp because I'm such a dog lover! And the hound is one of my favs!

Here I have a pair of AVON BICENTENNIAL PLATES--they are SPECIAL EDITION-Awared Exclusively to Avon Representatives For Distinguished Sales Achievement. Made in England by Enoch Wedgewood(Tunstall) Ltd, c Avon Products, Inc 1976( All written on back of BOTH plates)--one plate represents the "Birthplace of the declaration of independence" and the other for the "Symbol of liberty and freedom for all americans"...

They are near perfect, with no damage that I can see such as chips, etc...
They are in the old colored blue, and each depicting various images both in the center and on the rim areas...The liberty one has the liberty bell, 2 soldiers with weapons of time, and with SUCH detail on bell, etc..on the rim is the symbol of eagle and olive branch and arrows(on both @ tops and bottom), and flags with 13 stars?...the second one is of independence hall, and the rim has images of paper and quill pen, and sword and hat...the eagle on this particular one has a shield shape of the american flag?

3 JAPAN marked small plate and saucers? (NRV) $15

I have available a small lot of 3 "Japan" marked items...2 of them are a matching pair, which I believe are saucers or such...they have gold trimming around the edging, and designed with roses, the back reads:
CREATIVE FINE CHINA 2 3 4 5 JAPAN, and then a small stamp, I'm not sure how to decribe or what it means?
The second is a small plate with 4 birds painted on the edges of the front, they are perhaps blue jays, or sparrows (I'm not a bird expert! :) ) , it is hand painted, and has what may be a ANTIQUE or VINTAGE black stamped JAPAN on back---I know this one is older...just not sure, how old...
All three have no cracks, or damage...

I have this BEAUTIFUL decantor--EZRA BROOKS 12 years 90 proof-4/5 quart-Kentucky staright bourbon bottled by Ezra Brooks distilling co, Frankfort, Ky--All written on good conditioned label...also has the other originial label Genuine Heritage China, Hand Decorated 24 KARAT GOLD!

The scenery on it is of the Hawiian island and the natives rowing in one of their traditional boats...light blues and greens, and red detailing colors! ON the front reads: AMERICAN LEGION 55TH NATIONAL CONVENTION HAWAII 1973--it is a large decanter with a GREAT amount of 24kt gold trim on front...there is an gold? label shaped like a square that reads: AUGUST 12, 1898 Hawaiian Islands formally transfers sovereignty to the United States....APRIL 30, 1900 Hawaii is made a full-fledged territory.....AUGUST 21, 1959 Hawaii becomes 50th state of the Union...with a statue above the inscription....

There is also a mark on the bottom HERITAGE CHINA c S.N-44 EZRA BROOKS LIQUOR BOTTLE 185

Here is a small collection of salt and pepper shakers---there are two ceramic ones with gold trimming, and two SILVER ones....I would like to sell them all together, but will be willing to split, if offer and time, etc is worth it....

I've taken pictures below and each one, minus ONLY 1 has a marking on the bottom...On the SILVER ones, there is one that has a stamp and then Made in Japan also stamped on the bottom of it...the other is GORGEOUS!! Just precious with it's engraved to near perfection of a holland type scenery...it has a number impression on the bottom of it....
The one ceramic has no mark or such...
All in great condition, even the SILVER ones...and I've not cleaned a one!!
All these items have been collected by me from different estate sells over the past few years!

Antique/Vintage? Sewing/Veil pin collectable (NRV virginia) $10

As I've mentioned in other ads, I'm desprately trying to clean out my house for the winter, so I'm going through my collectables and such and offering her on CL to you!

Here, I'm offering you for a SMALL price a set of sewing items and Veil pins....I got them years ago from an estate sell, and loved them, I've actually used all the other ones that I got because they work so much better than newer ones almost--I put them to shameful work though, so hopefully a prof. seamstress or such may do them justice...

The majority of the set was made by a company called 'Clinton'...I believe it's from about the 40-50's time? I'm not sure really...someone may know more...the eyes, etc are rust proof, etc as written on the cards, that are ALL intact and in great condition, minus someone writing on them with marker for the price that is actually already listed on them....I'm not sure if someone from an old store did this or whom did, or when? So that's the only damage I've noticed, oh, minus a little rusting in the middle area's of SOME Veil pins, that are also in this small lot, I suppose from being in the packaging for so many years--you can't tell from the looking at them, but I've pulled one or so, and saw alittle erosion in the centers...

The Veil pins are also around that era--so if you know someone who is getting married, ...how about offering something "OLD"...?
