Flemish giant doe rabbit (Ivanhoe, VA) $30

We have shares of steers available in mid January. The steers were born and raised by their mommas just a mile down the road from our farm. We got them and have raised them on our farm this year. They have been on grass for their entire lives. No grain or animal byproducts and of course no hormones. We are taking them to the butcher in mid December and the cuts will be ready in the middle of January. The cuts are aged for 4 weeks so the meat will be terrific! I have 15 chickens for sale for $60 total. There are a few different breeds in the flock and I am not sure of what the breeds are other than a few are Rhode Island Reds. I bought them a few months ago and was told they are all between 6 months and a year old. I paid much more for them than what I am asking, but I need them gone to a good home ASAP. They are just too much responsibility for me since I work an hour from home and I am also having trouble with dog attacks. All are extremely tame and you can't help but love them. These chickens are free roamers, so would like to see them go to a home that has the same intentions for them. I am currently averaging a little less than a dozen eggs a day.

Must Sell Chickens Before Nov.21 (Radford, Va)

After thinking for years that we could have chickens in our rural area of the county, we were told on Friday that we have to get rid of all our chickens within a week. I am not even allowed to file a petition that might allow me to keep a few as pets.

Below is the list of chickens that I have left. Please consider adding these nice birds to your flock. I have not listed prices for some birds because I am willing to negotiate reasonable offers. Best prices given to people who take several birds.

1. Pair of Brassy Back Old English Game Bantams, 2 years old. Hen is good setter. (Earl and Mabel) My favorite toy chickens!
2. Pair of Single Comb Nankin Bantams, 1 year old. (Sonny and Ginger) Breed probably used in original development of Sebrights and coming either from Java or India to Britain.
3. Pair of Red Cornish Bantams, approx. 7 months old. (Billy and Ginny) Hen lays regularly.

Most of these birds have been vaccinated against Marek's Disease and Coccidiosis and none have ever had internal or external parasites, or any kind of diseases. If anyone does not recognize some of the rare breeds, look at the web site called Feathersite. Waterers and feeders also for sale. Some cages available for the bantam breeds.

I used it to pump filtered water out of a cistern onto my lawn in the summer for a couple of seasons. It can be wired for 115 (110) or 230 (220) volts AC. It is wired for 110 now. Have owner's manual. Suction port 2", discharge 1.5". Max 25' lift for 30 psi output, max lift is 10' for 40 psi. GPH ranges from 4790 gph @ 5 foot lift and 10 psi to 1520 gph @ 10 foot lift and 40 psi. "Wayne cast iron lawn sprinkler pump is built to give you many years of dependable pumping service. Beautiful, gentle, Saddlebred Mare $300

Beautiful, sweet 15 year old, 14.5 hand, Saddlebred mare. We sent her for some training about a year ago. Doesn't look or act her age at all. My 10 year old daughter rides her, I have ridden her and a 13 year old that visits has ridden her. She does well for the farrier and loads well.
