wireless internet SSID peaknet.1 (ironto area)

I found a wireless access point (mac 00:23:69:09:E4:C4) that identified itself as peaknet.1 I couldn't find any local ISPs which were providing wireless internet service in the IRONTO area in my location. I'm in the shadow behind a hill so we have no direct line of sight to poor mountain, where most of the wireless ISPs have their primary source. My antenna was actually pointed away from poor mountain, and towards the ridgeline facing blacksburg/christiansburg

I'm trying to find out if there is an ISP who's now providing wireless internet access in this area, or if I just happened to find the access point of some residence.

Need Help... (Blacksburg, VA)

So, I have no hope that this will work...however, a friend of mine recommended it and therefore I figure I've got nothing to lose. The worst thing that can happen at this point is that I'm no better off then I am now. So...here it goes...

In early February of this year I went to the dentist for a severe tooth-pain that I thought might be due to the wisdom tooth coming in on the bottom left side of my jaw. After a cleaning and x-rays, I found out that the 6 year molar on the bottom left had a small pinpoint in the top of the tooth. Unfortunately, the small pinpoint was hiding the fact that the cavity had started eating away at the tooth from the inside (there was a pocket of decay that had hit the root which was causing the pain that had sent me to the dentist). After the dentist looked at the x-rays a little more he found that there were 2 other teeth (on top of the 6 year molar I have already mentioned) that he was recommending work be done on. His recommendation was a root canal. I told him that I would prefer the teeth just be removed as I am worried about the Novocaine wearing off too quickly and feeling too much pain and jerking or twitching and more damage being caused. So he referred me to a local oral surgeon called Dr. Boyle. After we had talked about the x-rays some more he also said he wanted me to get 3 of my 4 wisdom teeth removed on top of the other 3.

After calling Dr. Boyle's office the next day to find out how much it would cost to get the 3 regular teeth removed (as those were the ones the dentist felt were the bigger problem for me) and to see if they would do a payment plan for me I found out that they 1) would not do a payment plan and 2) that it was going to cost me $1,250+ to get them removed. Knowing I didn't have that kind of money and that most of mine and my fiance's money was going to be going into bills and we wouldn't be able to save up that kind of money any time soon I started calling around to friends that might help me and asked if they could do anything. Unfortunately, none of my friends could help me.

A few months ago the 12 year molar on the top right fell out and there may be some tooth fragments inside the gums (though I won't know without another x-ray). The 6 year molar on the lower right side has had pieces falling off every so often (the most recent piece that fell off a week or so ago has caused a jagged edge that has been cutting into my tongue and it's finally dulled enough that it's not causing pain anymore). The 6 year molar that sent me to the dentist to begin with has lost a large piece of the back and the roots (or nerves) are exposed enough that it causes me massive pain. The pain has been bad enough in the last few weeks that I have been found on the floor in the fetal position, whimpering, near tears, and close to screaming (if I was able to open my mouth more then a fraction of an inch).

After the start of this kind of pain my fiance, myself, and our roommates have been making phone calls to any and every dentist and oral surgeon in the Blacksburg, Radford, and Roanoke areas to see if someone would be kind enough to set up a payment plan so I could get the tooth removed. I had, also, talked to Dr. Boyle's office (again) to see how much it would be to get just my 6 year molar on the bottom left removed (which includes me being put under) and the cost was $585 (which we don't have...and have no hope of having any time soon).

12 days ago (as of today) I went to the hospital and was put on antibiotics (penicillin vk) and pain killers (loratab 10's). The antibiotics are done and I'm still having swelling and pain. Last night I went to the hospital again and they put me only on antibiotics (the same penicillin vk they put me on last time). Unfortunately, I can't get the antibiotics filled till Friday (depending on the cost of them at Wal-Mart it may be longer till I can get the prescription for my antibiotics filled). Montgomery Regional doesn't have dentists on call and therefore can't do anything more then give me antibiotics and/or pain killers. I can't get to Lewis Gale Hospital due to no gas therefore I can't see if they can do anything where a dentist is concerned (I have heard that they do have dentists on call there and therefore will do extractions if they are necessary). I have even gone to the Free Clinic in Christiansburg (who I heard could outsource me to Dr. Boyle's office so I could get the extractions done and be put under for them). As of yesterday I found out that Dr. Boyle won't see me except at the Free Clinic (and they don't have the facilities to put me under...and they agree that I probably should be)...and to top that off I can't get in till sometime in January (if not later).

To anyone who reads this if there is anything you can do to help (be it advice or otherwise) it would be greatly appreciated. I have exhausted all options (even going so far as to call a reporter with Channel 10 News who was giving me hope and then as of today has been giving me as much of a run around as the Free Clinic and the local dentists/oral surgeons)...and honestly this is my last hope that anything will happen to change things for the better. If this fails I have no idea what I will do as I have no idea where to go from here. I have included my contact information below. NRV Prison Outreach (Dublin, VA)

NRV Prison Outreach was began in 2006 in order to reach out in area communities to purchase Christmas gifts for the children of inmates at the New River Valley Regional Jail, Montgomery County Jail and Western Virginia Regional Jail. Gifts are purchased on behalf of the incarcerated parent and given to the child. Each child receives two gifts, a fun gift and a clothing gift - $15 - $20 each. This year there are a total of 543 children that need sponsors.
