50lbs very friendly. Looks to be an older dog maybe 4 years old. Found on Alum Ridge Rd. She's been fed and bathed. She is in heat and is possibly sick from fleas/ticks.

There has been a stray male, orange tabby cat with white tip of a tail hanging around our house for the past week. Very thin. Older cat (maybe 9 yrs. approx.) Found dilute calico cat (Christiansburg, VA)

Found a dilute calico cat, female, about 4-5 months old at the end of February earlier this year (2009). We have kept her and taken good care of her, but never posted a "lost" advertisement. If this might be your cat, you can reply to the anonymous email address with a photo and/or description of her.

Lost Dog Sighting Information Requested (Newport/Appalacia Trail)

Izzie is still missing and we are seeking information from anyone in the Newport area who may have seen her. Izzie is familiar and
comfortable with the AT trails in the area and may have followed hiker(s) during the timeframe beginning August 1st until the present.

She was sighted around October 25th near Clover Hollow Road and Laurel Creek Spring Road. She appeared to be traveling alone.

Izzie was again sighted Friday, October 30th on 3 occassions: around 8 AM near the Lucas Rd/Zells Mill intersection, around 12:30 PM running down
Zells Mill Road towards Clover Hollow and around 5:30 PM near the intersection of Clover Hollow and Route 42.

The 8AM and 12:30 PM sightings indicate Izzie was traveling with a white Jack Russell Terrier and a dog who looked like a Min Pin.
The 5:30 sighting report indicates Izzie was traveling alone. ALL THREE DOGS ARE ABOUT THE SAME SIZE; APPROXIMATELY 10-15 POUNDS AND A FOOT TALL.

The top photos are Izzie; she is best described as a Boston Terrier mix with lots of white (legs, chest, mouth, belly, tip of tail) with a noticable underbite.
She has been missing since August 1st and may or may not be wearing her collar with tags. All previous attempts by sighters to catch her have been unsuccessful and have scared her out of the area.


We are asking sighters to please call us ASAP if you see her and try to keep her in sight or note the direction she is traveling.

The black and tan photo below represents a Min Pin and the white photo a Jack Russell Terrier.

The white Jack Russell Terrier is reported missing since October 16th. Her name is Precious and her home is on Route 629 (off Route 42).
Precious was coming into heat when she went missing .

Precious was sighted on several occassions in the Route 42 area near the intersection
of Route 460. Those sightings were prior to the day Precious was sighted with Izzie and the Min Pin dog.

I found a puppy at the beginning of the Huckleberry Trail on November 2, 2009 at around 2:20 p.m., she followed me to my car and there was no one else around so I took her home. Lost Sony CyberShot 10.1 Megapixel camera & extra battery (brown case) (Radford near 7-11 / downtown)

My wife and I lost our camera somewhere between downtown Radford and where we parked near 7-11 on Downey St. on Friday afternoon, October 30 when returning to our car after Main Street Radford's Trick-or-Treat on Main Street and New Horizons Church's Harvest Festival at the Farmers' Market. It is a black Sony CyberShot 10.1 megapixel digital camera with an extra battery all inside a small, brown case. Our business cards (and $1, I think) were also inside the case.

What is most precious to us are the photos contained on the 2 GB memory stick in the camera, most of which are of our 3 month old baby and from our recent vacation. Most of these photos have not been downloaded yet and are the only copies. We are really hoping someone has found this camera and wants to make a family really, really happy by returning it to us. Please reply to this posting or contact us by the info on the two business cards contained in the camera case.

Found: male poodle (Christiansburg)

I found this poor little guy running in and out of traffic on a busy road near the Christiansburg mall 10-21-09 around 9am. He had been groomed recently but his face was very matted. He was cold, wet and afraid. He had no collar with any id, no micro-chip only an old flea collar that obviously did nothing for the fleas he had. I have paid to have him treated for fleas and he has been bathed and groomed. He has not been neutered. He is a very sweet dog who loves everyone he meets. If he belongs to you please contact me. Lost Cellphone on VT campus (Blacksburg)

Anyone that has seen a small blue phone on Virginia Tech campus please message me. The last place I remember having it was at Torgersen Hall At the bottom floor in one of the sofas in the lounge area. Although I went to my last class from there to Randolph and then on the BT to Foxridge. It has a background of a blue 1966 mustang on it. The time setting was in military time. Since you don't know my code, the Ipod will be useless to you. I lost my cat last night around 8pm (Friday, October 23). She is dark gray and has long fur. She is a very friendly cat and responds to the name of Ume (oo-may). She will probably come to you if you call her or offer her some food.
