Thrash metal band Alphawar looking for vocalist AND bassist (Giles/Blacksburg)

We are a newly formed thrash metal band with some pretty solid tracks laid down so far. We have a sick drummer whos beats are almost unmatched in our area, and two very creative guitarists whos musical backgrounds comes from punk rock/thrash metal and metalcore/powermetal, which gives our music an almost out of body feeling while keeping an upbeat pace thats going to make crowds go nuts.

At the moment, Alphawar is looking for a vocalist and a bassist. We prefer to look at people who either have previous band experience, or are just plain flat out awesome. We plan on being very picky with who we choose, but that shouldnt discourage you from giving us a shot. We prefer that our vocalist is not only a good singer, but can also WRITE his own lyrics. Also, please no screamers who can only scream and not sing. The ratio of singing to screaming were going for is 4:1, so that means we want someone who is creative and can come up with some catchy vocals. Bassists, you know the deal, just give us a shot and see what you can do.

Were a laid back, awesome group of dudes who like to party, so expect one hell of a damn adventure if youre going to play with us.

George Fest will be held in just two weeks.
Guru das is a close personal friend of George's, he will be speaking about George Harrison's spiritual quest up to the end of his life. In fact George had requested him to help through his final journey.
Local musicians will perform George's songs, there will also be a sitar performance as well as workshops on yoga and meditation techniques that George used in his life.
