Tennis! (Bloomington)
Looking for a partner to hit with at the IU Tennis Center or outdoors when the weather is nice. I am a beginner, but I am quickly learning and having a blast. I would prefer a female only because men seem to take it too seriously and forget that this is just for fun! Looking forward to hearing from you.
Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 Buddies Wanted (Bloomington)
A little geeky of a post, but with L4D2 coming out I was just curious if anyone here in Bloomington was planning on picking it up for 360. I'm a big fan of the game and could always use some more human teammates to play with in campaign or versus. While I'm a huge fan of the series, I'm just looking to play with people who just want to have fun with and not take it too seriously (not interested in team mates who repeatedly use the word f*g, n*gger, or other such disparaging words). My gamer tag is "Cubby McQuilken". Feel free to e-mail me back or just add me on LIVE.
Thanks
* Aikido Self-Defense * (Bloomington, IN)
Suenaka-ha Tetsugaku-ho (Suenaka style, philosophical way) Wadokai Aikido is a self-defense system designed to be street-effective while still maintaining and paying equal attention to spiritual, mental and moral/ethical development.
This style of Aikido is derived from the Founder Morihei Ueshiba O'Sensei's Aikido and that of Shin-Shin Toitsu Aikido founder Koichi Tohei Sensei. Suenaka-ha Tetsugaku-ho Aikido incorporates both the martial techniques (waza) and spiritual teachings of O'Sensei and the practical ki-development exercises developed by Koichi Tohei Sensei.

Need People to Play Volleyball (HPER or YMCA)
Hi,
My girlfriend and I are looking for people with intermediate or greater skill to play volleyball with. We are members of the Monroe county YMCA and would like to get a group together to start playing there, but are willing to play anywhere nearby with a net. If anyone is interested in getting a group together, or knows of a group we can join, please let me know.
New to Bloomington? 30+40+? Single? Hang out with us! (Bloomington)
Hi. I'm a recent transplant from NYC and what I find difficult about moving to a new city, is leaving my friends and social network behind and having to explore solo.
Sound familiar?
Well, I've been thinking about starting a social group for bloomington "newbies" to get together and experience all Bloomington and the area has to offer. Things like; museum visits, group dinners, film/discussions, art exhibits, live theatre/music events, day trips to Indi, etc. It's YOUR group. YOU decide.
NOTE: THE INTENTION HERE IS NOT TO CREATE A DATING SERVICE but rather a casual group of outgoing, single (similar age) people to get together, make new friends and have a great time enjoying Bloomington!
Please send me a note with your age and where you're from (so I can communicate back to all of you what the group might be like.)
PLEASE PUT "NEWBIE" IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE SO I CAN WEED THRU THE SPAMMERS!!
If I get a decent number of interested folks (10+) I'll start a group on meetup.com and post it here to Craigslist. ASAP!
Hope to meet you all soon!
