Job Description

Title: College Brand Ambassador

Reports to: Action Marketing Group Account Manager

Overview: High energy college brand ambassador wanted to engage students in their environment and increase brand awareness. This position will require brand representation through student outreach, word of mouth and on-campus guerilla tactics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be the face of our product in market
• Utilize provided program elements to build awareness of brand daily
• Weekly reporting with measured distribution and photo capture
• Ongoing social networking activity for brand
• Wild postings / flyers / stickers distribution
• Editorial creation and submission to school newspaper
• Information and premium distribution to campus influencers
• Pre-lecture classroom announcements
• Recruit additional brand advocates
• Data collection in the form of pictures and numbers
• Report weekly to Action Marketing Group Manager

Qualifications: A major in marketing, advertising, business, or PR is preferred. A well qualified brand ambassador will be connected on campus with clubs and organization (i.e. athletics, Greek life, etc) and through social media networks. Must be self motivated, reliable and willing to work 15-20 hours a week for the last few weeks of Fall Semester and first weeks of Spring Semester.
Knowledge: Expert knowledge of your market is required. Knowledge of the brand (provided by Action Marketing Group), the website, marketing strategy and tactics must be obtained before activation.
Skills & Abilities: Computer skills (including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact successfully with consumers is a must.

Vivid Marketing and the FUEL Professional Casting Network is seeking Market Mangers in select college markets to oversee activities in support of the launch of a new television program. Activations will include viewing parties and on-premise promotions at fraternities, bars and tailgating hot spots in/around campus. Market Managers will conduct pre-event research the week or so prior to activation and will activate for 3 days (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) on their respective campuses. Primary responsibilities include providing campus/market-specific information to program managers, sourcing/selecting activation sites, confirming with site contacts, managing a staff of four brand ambassadors, overseeing all logistics and communicating with Vivid account staff. Salary is $700 per market, plus a $50 expense stipend.

Candidate Profile - Qualifications/Requirements:
• Prior field marketing management experience required and event emcee experience a plus
• Knows the college campus life well and is able to provide client with the optimal locations for the activations
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to learn and then provide specific brand/product information to consumers (brand training provided)
• Bright, energetic and engaging with consumers – a team player with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude and problem solving mentality
• Ability to work with HQ contacts, clients and event contacts to ensure that the event experience is as turnkey and impactful as possible
• 21+ years of age
• Willingness to go above and beyond standard requirements to deliver an award-winning program for our clients
• Committed to consistently providing outstanding, positive interaction with consumers
• Does not have a problem with over the top situations and/or language
• Able to maintain a professional demeanor while at the same time overseeing a party atmosphere
