Simple assistance needed (Bedford area)

This is a repeat posting from a long while back because the lady who has been helping me is moving out of state. I was in a car crash 1 1/2 yrs ago that left me with sore and stiff neck/shoulder problems. I worked out a nice arrangement with a woman that had a massage license where she came to my home once to twice a month. I would soak in my hot tub and then she would give me a massage. She started a new full time job with o.t. and needed to quit, then found another girl for a year that did the same. Although she didn't have a license, she was wonderful-so I have learned that a certificate doesn't mean quality !!! I hate to lose her and am in "need" of replacing her soon. I had 4 applicants last posting. Pay will be based upon number of visits, travel time and skill / experience levels. This is a legitimate offer and not soliciting sexual favors. I have a daughter who lives with me - she will be 16 soon and I would not set up a bad situation in my home. If you want some spending money for just a few hours work a month, please give me a call. Bloomington Based Veterinary Clinic is looking for new Vet Assistants.
This is a postion that requires a two week training course.
Applicants will be evaluated to determine if they have basic skills needed
prior to training.
You will be paid during your training.

Job requires ability to lift 50 pounds
You will be on your feet 10 hours at a time.
Overnight trips one or two nights a week may be required.
There is a great deal of traveling with this job.
Duties include client education, animal handling, assisting with physical exams
assisting with surgery, and assisting with emergency procedures.

There are four levels of pay for vet assistants.
To advance beyond the second level you must be a good driver.
Air travel is sometimes required as well.
Employees may advance as quickly as they master the needed skills and training.

Qualified employees will be considered for veterinary technician licensing, (2 year program).

Exceptional employees will be considered for pre-vet training and

Home Aide (Bloomington, In)

This position will require light housekeeping, occasional transportation of children, and regular transportation and entertainment of an elderly woman with dementia. You will need to "coach" the elderly woman through her shower and dressing as well as doing her laundry. You will be expected to take the elderly woman to town to fill prescriptions, go to the library, go to the salon, etc. You will need to be available between 9:30am through 4:00pm Tuesday through Friday. There will be slight variances in the hours, but general availability during that time is necessary. (If you have children that need to be picked up from school, for example, you could take the elderly lady with you to pick up your kids, etc.) Basic sweeping, dishes, and vacuuming around the house will also be part of this position. References, a reliable vehicle, a good driver's license, and potentially a background check will be required. The pay is $10.00 per hour, and you will generally have about twenty-five hours a week. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, enjoy contributing to interdisciplinary teams, have excellent clinical skills, including writing skills, and an optimistic and positive attitude in working with individuals with severe mental illness. Good communication skills, reliability and responsibility are a must.
