Bunny Hutch - great for other small animals (South Rogers Bloomington)

Used one month for puppy, but it was never soiled in. He got too strong for it and tried to break out. Has 2 little wires where the weld was broken. Can be easily rewelded or soldered. If not repaired, a rabbit would not fit through the small opening. Hutch would be great as a crate for toy puppies like yorkies, maltese or similar. Our pom did get too strong and aggressive at escaping. These go for $150-200 in pet stores and at the farm store. We are asking $50. Call 812-320-1357. Please do not email back.

Large Parrot Cage (Quincy)

Large parrot cage with playtop, it is 50" from ground, not including the removeable playtop and the actual cage (not including playtop) is 37" high, 24 1/2" wide and 22" depth. I bought it for my african grey a few years ago but he never took to it and stayed in his old one. This is big enough for an african grey or amazon size bird. Precious Puggle at Bloomington Shelter Needs Home ( )

I just thought I would respond to this ad so hopefully ANYONE would be able to read and give a very sweet, innocent, loving puggle a much needed home.

There is a beautiful PUGGLE at the Bloomington animal shelter on South Walnut Street just waiting for someone to love her and give her a nice well deserved warm and loving home. Her name is Angel Marie and she is a fawn color and just one year old.

She is a BEAUTIFUL VERY SHY VERY VERY TIMID pug mix(with beagle) that is so in need of a very loving and warm home. She would just melt ANYONE'S heart, I just know it. I happened to see her yesterday at the shelter and just broke my heart I couldn't take her home as we already have a dog and a cat. IF ANYONE is looking for a pug/pug mix, PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ANGEL MARIE A CHANCE!!!! I KNOW YOU WOULD LOVE HER IF YOU COULD SPEND SOME TIME WITH HER!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Because she is so shy and timid she would need some extra TLC to get her reaquainted with people ....but I KNOW IN MY HEART SHE WILL BE A WONDERFULL ADDITION TO SOMEONE'S FAMILY!! We just couldn't take her because we already have a dog and a cat.

She is fawn color and does still have pug features except she is a bit bigger than a purebred put (but not much) and she does not have a black mask. She has the underbite like a pug and a bit a squished face but not as much. The beagle in her gives her the little bit bigger muzzle and also the little bit bigger beagle ears. If I am remembering correctly, they told me at the shelter that she does have allergies like a lot of pugs, but that is nothing very hard to deal with. I have had pugs in my life for 15 years now and both of them I have had (one passed away after 13 years and the other one is now 2) had / have the allergies and skin issues. All it takes is making sure that you have them on HOLISTIC food. They are allergic to corn wheat and soy which is what a lot of cheaper foods and treats have in them. My best luck has been NUTRO ULTRA. This is a wonderful food made of all natural dried fruits and vegetables and actual chicken and/or turkey and NOT the byproducts. Getting her on holistic food, a good bath, and some cortisone spray (you can get this from a vet or even the pet isle at Walmart for under $4) and she would be just fine.

They told me she is only $75.00 adoption fee to adopt so I am DESPERATELY trying to help get her a WELL DESERVED WARM HOME FULL OF LOVE.

Hamster babies (Mitchell)

I have 5 baby hamsters that are just about ready to go to their new homes. It was an accidental breeding as I was told I had 2 male hamsters. Mother is accidently bred again (they can be bred as soon as they whelp and I didn't remove the dad quickly enough) so I will be keeping her until she has her next litter and then adopting out her and babies except maybe one for sure male. I have since learned how to tell the gender. Babies do have a very small rehoming fee, about the same you find in pet shops, but these babies are being handled daily so should be friendly family pets. dont get rid of your best friend due to allergies! (everywhere)

come on people, do your homework! There are very simple tests to see if your allergic to dogs or anything for that matter. Get tested and get medication for it! My family has 4 dogs, and me my husband and son are all allergic but we did our homework and found medicine on the 4 dollar list (10 for 3 months) to be able to keep our beloved family memebers. I see so many dogs on CL being given away for only the small reason. I love my dogs to much to give them up for what ever reason, i understand there are certain reasons why you must, but if it is just for allergies, then please go to the doctor, and be able to keep them! There are so many animals out there being put to sleep for no reason at all! and if you think that the way these animals are put to sleep is peaceful or caring then your nuts! at a vet's office they will knock them out, let you hold them while they go to sleep, then they will give another shot to stop there hearts, that is NOT the way it is done at shelters, they are just shot in the heart with the "kill shot" and left to seize and die alone! please, lets all do our part to keep this from happening. I know it costs money to see a doctor but the tests are really simply and pretty cheap even without insurance to have done, and like i said 10 dollars for 3 monthes, dont eat out one time in 3 monthes and you pretty much got your 10 bucks plus get to keep your best friend. they have meds for children also, my son as been taking since 4 years old! he loves animals and cried when i told him he couldnt have one cuz he was allegric. then i did my homework and found a way, now we have 4 and donot know what we would do without them!

i think the main reason that ppl are flagging ur post is becuz they dnt seem to understand y u wld bring her to the shelter. u sy u want to insure her of a good home thats y u are asking a fee but if ur taking her to the shelter than there is high chance that she will be put dwn due to the amount of animals in the shelter,not only tht she is a pit bull. they are usually the 1st to be uthinized. i am a pitbull owner and they are my favorite breed of dogs. i was even considering running a pitbull rescue.but if u wld rlly like for ur girl to find home u can also do a home visit to insure that,please reconsider taking her to a kill shelter,there are rescues out there....

A beautiful cat was dumped on my in-laws property and my husband and I have been taking care of her for several months. We are currently expecting our first child and are uncomfortable with the combination of a somewhat new cat and a new infant. After discussing this, we have decided that the only way we can feel totally secure is to find her a new home. She has never shown any signs of aggression, but likes to cuddle on our chests at night and we can't allow for the possibility of her doing the same to our new baby.
Although having to give her up makes us very sad, we are hoping to find a loving family for her. She is very sweet and rather independent, but likes to play when she gets the chance. She is an all black, long-haired domestic with brilliant green eyes (We named her Dublin, for the emerald isle, because of them). The vet seems to think that she is a rather young adult, most likely about a year or so old. She is spayed and is up to date on her shots, although she will be due for the next set in the summer. Oddly enough, she prefers the cheaper brands of cat food (Whiskas being her brand of choice). So this will help on housing costs. We will gladly provide a new owner with her collar, pet tag, remaining food, litter and her cat toys/treats.
Again, she is an excellent animal, and we are sad to see her go. However, our child has to take first priority. Please send me a message if you are interested. Thanks!

Adorable White Puppy-free to good home! (lyons, indiana)

I have an adorable white puppy, approximately 8 or 9 months old. She will come with bowls, toys, collar, leash, and food. She needs no special medications and doesnt have any behavioral issues. She is hood with kids, I have a 14 month old and they get along famously. She is also good with other pets, but does get very excited at the opportunity to play. She is an inside dog and as she is a puppy needs to be paid attention to for potty breaks. She will potty outside as long as someone lets her out. The only time she has accidents is when she is left alone for hours at a time. I recently found out I am expecting and have to be on bedrest, so I wont have the time or energy for her. Her name is Sugar, she looks to be a mix between a retriever and maybe a sheperd? She will probably grow to be between 60 and 70 pounds. I am asking for a small rehoming fee of 25.00 as she will be coming with her supplies. I am not sure if she has had shots as she is fairly new to our home and was taken in as a stray. She is very loving and playful. I am sure she would love a yard and kids to play with. She is a very sweet little girl. She seems to be very loyal and protective, I have seen her watch my daughter play and she lays right beside her and the moment anyone else moves she watches immediately. Not sure how she is with cats, she hasnt been around any but she is great with other dogs. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lie down. Male American Staffordshire Terrier (Linton)

Diesel is looking for a home as the other one did not work out these are the reasons: he got protective over the baby and didn’t want the girl going near him so kids 10+ it would be best, that is what he is use to, another reason he is protective and doesn’t like strangers coming in but I can show you how to get him use to new people coming in to your home. He loves to give kisses and have his belly rubbed. He likes to chase a ball but is not the best at bringing it back unless you have treats. He loves to play tug of war he gets noisy while playing but never has grabbed me. He does NOT get along well with other pets; he likes to chase cats so outside cats should be fine. Very sweet and loving dog but he just can’t stay here with our dogs. Do not call or email me giving me a speech about getting rid of my dog. He is crate trained but will whine. He is 100% house trained and hasn’t had an accident in the house since he was a puppy. He needs someone who knows the breed or at least experience with dog training. He will jump on people first come in but I am working on training him to sit in a corner and wait until he gets the command to go greet but that is a work in progress. He is a little out of touch from his training, but until he gets a home I will work on it. An Ideal home (but this is not set in stone) would be: older or no kids, a teenager girl that’s what his owner/trainer is, a fenced in yard though the people had him said he got out of the fence but he never went far, or in the country he would love space to run. He sleeps with me or on the floor beside me. When on walk it is best to use the gentle leader or shock as he does pull and go after cats/dogs. When in a heel he usually does fine but not on a loose leash. He likes it outside but wants to be able to come in with his family. So he needs to be a house dog or outside some through the day and in the house in the evening. He is a wonderful dog but it is making everyone here miserable, because we have to constantly watch there every moves. If you live in the Bloomington, Terre Haute, Brazil, or Washington area I can bring him to your house and give you a run through of all of his commands. I want to be able to get updates and from time to time pictures, no matter what I will take him back or help you find him a new home if it doesn’t work out. He will come with collar, leash, dog bed, treat pouch, tug toy, shock collar, microchip ID, we do not have his shot records but I know his due date. He has been fixed since a pup so he does NOT mark. You can email or call anytime for more info or pictures, I have like twelve or so pictures. My cell 1-812-798-4809, his fee is $50. I do not want to leave him tied up but the way he is acting around our dogs he might have to, until we find him a home. If you do not include this information I will not reply to your email or text and if you call expect me to ask what experience do you have with dogs, other pets, kids, fenced yard, or if not how much exercise will he get? Since we have gotten him back he is getting a lot better. He has been interacting with our dogs a lot better. I will just have to show you how to get him to be calmer.

FREE DOGS german shep & golden retriever (patricksburg)

Two five year old dogs. They were left by the neighbors at their house for nearly 2 weeks. We did not realize that they were there until Monday and they were whining and crying and we went over there!. Anyway we took them and called her and she said they could not have them and were looking for a home... we have not heard from her since and yes we reported it. They are both full blooded. Outside dogs. She never really had them in the house just the garage. Great with kids and other pets. One has some hair loss but the vet says that is just due to the lack of nutrition and with good feeding will return!! Both had puppy shots but I have no idea of where that was just what we were told. Nonetheless our landlord says we cannot keep them. There is NO adoption fee but they must go before the 20th of March when we are moving. Allie and Odie are their names!! We have them in a temp pen behind our home!

10 Gallon Cage Topper (Bloomington)

I have one 10 gallon cage topper in used condition - it would work well for rats, mice, degus, soft furred rats, etc. I used to quranteen a few rats, but I don't need it anymore.

It fits over a tank (just set it on top) and doubles the amount of room the animal has. It's easy to clean, works well and gives rats more ventilation.

Gouramis and Angelfish need new Aquarium (Bloomington)

I have 2 blue gouramis and a striped angelfish that need a new home. They are all very healthy and happy fish, they are currently in a heavily planted 46 gallon fishtank. Two of my angelfish have had fry and as a consequence I need to reorganize my tanks and make some room.

The angelfish is roughly 3" long and 3" tall, the gouramis are about 2.5" long with great coloration.

In order to ensure a good home for these guys I am asking for a rehoming fee.

I have 4 tanks of various sizes (all cleaned out with boiling salt water to sterilize), tank accessories (same cleaning treatment as tanks), betta food (just opened, barely used), gravel (1/2 bag), salt (1/2 full), and an assortment of fish medicines that I'll throw in for free because most of them have expired.

I'm getting rid of them because I have had 5 bettas now, and the last betta I had died within a week from the pet shop. I don't want to get another, but I know someone out there will enjoy having bettas as much as I did and can make good use of these items.

My name is Ayden and I was abandoned by my human family. My dog family had 3 other dogs. The pit bull was chained to the gas meter and straved to death. The puppies were ran over on the highway. I have been running the streets for I don't know how long. If you read the Greene County paper then you read about me. The Town Marshal is trying to catch me and I am afraid of him. Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab Mix (Bedford)

6 month old male golden/lab mix. Very friendly with dogs & people. Crate trained, and house trained. Knows basic commands *sit,stay,laydown*.
He is an *inside* dog, but he does love to run around our yard along with our other dog. I will be choosy of the type of family he goes too, we rescued him when he was a very sick puppy and is now as healthy as can be. I will keep him as long as need be to find a good family.
