RC boat kit SS Talacre by Caldercraft (Dwight) $175

You are looking at a Caldercraft SS Talacre model steam ship. I bought this a while back with intentions to build it. However, it is just sitting around so it must go. The hull has had the bottom support glued in, panama chocks cut out as well as the stuffing box, rudder and electric motor installed. No other work has been done on the hull. Most all fitting still in their packages and the wood pieces have been trimmed and labeled for easy identification. It also includes the balsa strip wood, all instructions and full sized blueprints. This would make a dandy winter project for someone. Price is $175. The kit list for $382.37 plus shipping from Cornwall boats, in England. Add shipping and you are looking at a $500.00 bill for this same kit. Notice there are two photos, one of the actual finished kit and one of the kit you are buying. Again, you are buying an unfinished kit, not a completed boat.

Anyway, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I work in the Metro Chicago area so it is possible to meet at my workplace to exchange money for kits. I live in Central Illinois so if you live in that area you can pick it up at my home.

Assorted HO train pieces (Bloomington) $75

I have a large assorment of HO scale train pieces from back in my younger days. It is all in various stages of repair. Here is an approximate list of what I have

4-engines, some of them work, some of them dont' some can be made to work.
12 or so cars - some perfect, some without trucks or wheels
3 buildings as shown all missing some pieces but workable.
3 boxes of trees, unopened
some phone poles and track signs (not pictured)
assorted piers for inclines, I think 3 sets, but I won't guarantee they are complete
a few small lighted scenery items, bridge and crossing light
a large amount of track- the box shown is about 5" deep and has more track in it than it can hold,
some longer lengths of flex track

-there is no controller included.

I got all this out in hopes to set up a train with my boys. But in our new house we don't have room for an HO setup. We have decided to go with N scale are selling this just to get an N scale starter set.

I would be happy to trade this for any N guage train gear of equal value - or a good starter set.
