Moms Group: Mothers of Preschoolers - MOPS (Bloomington-Normal IL)

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. During the school calendar year, we meet at Evangelical Free Church at 2910 E. Lincoln Street in Bloomington on Thursday mornings from 9 am - 11 am. The church provides a child care program so moms are able to meet and get refreshed while their children have fun with their friends. Our meetings always include food, time for moms to connect and catch up; then we rotate having speakers, making crafts and some specific mom topics provided to us by MOPS International. During the summer months we have an informal park schedule to check out the various parks throughout Bloomington and Normal.

We also schedule Mom events such as nights at Starbucks, Saturday morning breakfasts, painting pottery and any other ideas that we generate.

MOPS International membership is $23.95 for which you recieve a one year subscription to MomSense Magazine, weekly Mom e-mail messages and the book "Life On Planet Mom". There is a small child care fee from the church and it is well worth it!

Fellow Riders (fellowriders.net) is a networking resource available to local and global motorcycle enthusiasts that specializes in meeting fellow riders and organizing group rides and events. This network emphasizes a positive, mature atmosphere within its discussion forums.

This new website - http://fellowriders.net - is open to anyone and everyone! You are welcome to join and participate in discussions, and spread the word to family, friends, and colleagues who may be interested in motorcycles.

We have an additional section of the forums, not immediately available to guests, that you can access to take part in discussions specific to our central Illinois area.

You don't have to ride a motorcycle to take part in the forums, though if you do (or will eventually) you are also welcome to participate in any group rides, meets, and/or events.
